Greg A. Bedard, of the Palm Beach Post, repots Miami Dolphins PK Olindo Mare expressed some frustration Wednesday, March 15, with the team's latest request to restructure his contract. "I've taken two or three in the past couple years. Every year, I've gotten basically a pay cut," said Mare, who is scheduled to make $1.4 million this season. "How far down we'll go, I don't know. I don't even know if we will (go down any further). It just depends."


anyone see campbell play. i guess law would be a good fit for a couple years. we need to keep mare or sign a good kicker if we want to go deep in the playoffs.
 
Cambell and Mr.realiblity!If we could get Law cheap bring him down aswell.

Campbell was rumored to be coming in a while ago if I'm not mistaken. Law is very interesting though because if he is brought in that totally changes the draft for us. We can basically go with BPA b/c that would eliminate the need for a CB. Nick could go with the BPA anyway, but you would have to think the CB position would carry alot of weight considering how bad we need a starting corner.
 
kelly campbell has been a free agent since september right? so if hes any good why was he not picked up?

agreed and this would put us in a great position where we wouldnt have to rely on an unproven rook.
 
all of these guys would be good pick ups, some better than others.. I hope we get things worked out with Mare!

I'm most interested in the Ashworth signing.
Big improvement if we can get him.
Changes the whole offensive line to a strong point in one move.

That and resigning Frerrote to backup/start for Culpepper and our offense is about as set as it can be with what little cap space we have for FA.

It took a little while for me so I contacted them and they changed it, but I think they are quicker now. If it doesn't come up soon I'd contact them and they'll fix it for you.
 
Listening to local radio here in Tampa, these guys want him really badly as well. I sure hope get him! (ashworth that is)
 
Signing Ty Law is crucial....we need some veteran help in the backfield...

If we can get both Ashworth and Law that would make our Tackle and CB solid. So we could draft the best player available in the draft without a position being a must. Also we wouldnt have to depend on a rookie to carry those positions.
