Let's say for example we sign at least the following players in FA:
1. Lance Briggs - OLB
2. Ken Hamlin / Madieu Williams - S
3. Bryant Johnson - WR

Those are the noteworthy FA's we get, plus 2 or so cbs. One who we know what he is (Jaques Reeves for example) and let's say one question mark (the corner formerly known as Will Peterson).

Then our draft could potentially proceed as follows:
1. Ryan Clady, OT, Boise State
2a. Brandon Albert, OG, Virginia
2b. Red Bryant, DT, Texas A&M
3. Jason Jones, DE, Eastern Michigan
4. Martin Rucker, TE, Missouri
6. Bryan Kehl, LB, BYU
7a. Justin Harper, WR, Virginia Tech
7b. Tyvon Branch, CB, UConn

As if it would ever work out this way.

Yeah, no Briggs, and I would take the BEST MLB available at the 2a instead of Albert. Besides that, me likes very very much

I agree, if we didn't sign Briggs, and instead signed Randy Thomas for example I'd be looking for Conner or Mayo at 32.

Why could we forget about Briggs by the way? Obviously I am thinking we won't play a 3-4 and that's why we go after Briggs.

Actually, I love this scenario even better than signing Briggs. Connor or Mayo with that second and I am all over it bro.

I think Briggs will A: Be tendered and B: Know he is going to be expensive.

and now C: Looks like Zach wont be back....

way too high for CLADY. Unless we trade down I am happy with it a 6'6 317 pound monster

Well I did this before we knew Zach would be cut, and I would hope we address guard in FA. As I said Randy Thomas or Wahle would be great, though it looks like Wahle may end up in Seattle.

I figured I didn't have many reaches or people falling with where I picked them, with Clady being the closest thing to a reach.

I know it is considered a reach right now, I'm hoping he explodes at the combine is all. But I disagree with it being way too high, as Clady could go in top 5 for all we know.

And this would be your pick at the number 1 spot? -
