A vikings view point- enjoy!

This isn't very accurate of how most vike fans feel. Everyone up here is tickled pink that daunte is gone. They watched too many critical turnovers from him over the years and with his best weapon gone (his legs) they are glad to see him go. I don't know if he will work out for us or not. Saban may be able to shape him into a suitable QB. My guess is he'll fold under the pressure like he has in the past and we will be looking for a new QB in a year or two. Daunte is not a savior. He can't carry a team like Dan could. Just ask any viking fan.

This is Culpepper we're talking about, not Vick. He had the 3rd most prolific passing year in the history of the game in 2004. I think you might need to read the "manifesto".

theres just one problem with what you said..... Culpepper wont be carrying this team like he was in minn. ever heard of chambers, mcmichael, booker, ronnie brown, and ricky williams??? that is a pro-bowl supporting cast ( not all have been there, but all will be or have been at one point in their career).. and miami even last year has always had a better defense then minn.. Nobody is calling him a savior, he is a 3 time pro bowl QB who can take us where some of us have never seen the dolphins go (or were too young to remember)

lol....

funny that's not what i'm reading on vikings fan boards.

Go away jealous Bills fan with one post.

I read it but also have watched him for his entire career. He is leaving Minnesota for reason and nearly everyone up here is very happy about it.

1) A QB doesn't get voted to the Pro Bowl unless there much better than just "suitable".
2) When has he "folded under pressure"?
3) Very few QBs (if any) could carry a team like Dan could, but we don't need someone to do that.

I have my own questions about this trade, but they're more based on how soon and how well he's going to be able to come back, rather than anything he's done (the love boat episode included) in the past.

He threw an int on the last play of the game last game of the season against the cards a few year ago to knock the vikes out of the playoffs. He usually has a strech of 3 or 4 game where he plays poorly and the vikes lose several games in a row. To date he has not had any success in the playoffs. When he was successfull as a QB he had the most talented Offense in the league around him.

I'm glad their happy. Their loss is our gain

i dont need to back up my opinion when i say that you simply just dont know what you're talking about... "kindly leave" - owen wilson from wedding crashers.

The last play of that game was the freak TD catch to win the game for Arizona, not a Culpepper interception..

Please, go read the Manifesto.. everything you have said has been pretty much wrong..
