It's unbelievable to me after looking over some of these threads you would think that we lost yesterday and that were 1-15 all over again.

Hey DOLFANS we WON again yesterday and for the first time in years we are in the playoff hunt, it is GREAT to be a dolphin fan right now and always! Whether or not we make playoffs or lose in the 1st rd this team is FINALLY moving in the right direction and it's exciting to be apart of it as a fan, and some of you are missing out on it b/c it's still not good enough for you. My suggestion to to you all is sit back relax and enjoy the ride, b/c it's been a lot of fun this year for this DOLFAN!! Go Fins!

I think some people would still complain even if we won the Super Bowl.

Agreed, if Pennington threw an INT but threw 3 TD passes and we still won, they would complain about the 1 INT, it's crazy to me.

I still am shocked that we have won this much. I predicted a 6 win season, but there was a little bit of homerism in that prediction. I truely felt we would win 4-5. I cant believe we are in playoff contention.

i thought we'd go like 6-10. i'm pumped on sunday's again. go fins.

If Miami keeps winning then all is well. If they fold and finish 7-9. then that sucks.

I think the problem is people feel the team has "lucked" out with some of these wins.

Some will go too far, in both optimism and their negativities. Either we're going to beat every team, or we just lucked out with a win. Everyone's going to have an opinion, one way or another.

Thankfully, this is a message board and you can either add valuable input or ignore a thread. Not trying to point you out, but there are options if you're upset with the threads. And in some cases, what seem to be negative threads even after a win, can turn very informative.

..and I thought I was being optimistic in predicting 7-9. Also was vehemently against signing Pennington for all the boilerplate reasons. I've been very wrong - and am glad I was.

Oh no you didn't! :D

He is inviting WVDolphan to come in here and start trouble lol!!! To the OP, I agree 100%, sometimes i just don't wanna visit here because of the negativity, a win is a win no matter how u cut it.

I wasnt all that crazy about Pennington either. But I kept a neutral feel about it and am glad it worked out good.

I'm not gonna be 100% satisfied until I see them win the Super Bowl. That being said, I'm not gonna complain about the way they win games, either.

Some people just need things to complain about to feel good, if we went 15-1, we would hear them only talk about that 1 loss.

While that is true, you also got to fix what got you into the close win situations. 3 of the past 4 games have been close (minus the Patriots game). That's not going to work with all teams that we face as we saw vs. the Pats. You got to make the proper adjustments to get up on a team and close them out.

The previous 3 wins were Oakland, Seattle and St. Louis...all teams that we were expected to win by good margins, and we slipped by barely. Got to close out early.

I'm not complaining, because the W is all that matters. But to continue getting those W's...you must fix the mistakes and build on the positives.
