I don't care about any negative feedback, we won a road game and we played sloppy! A win I'll take it by gosh! Next game is a different challenge! Worry about the mistakes then! We are 1-0 Go Phins!!!
 
We played very similiar to last year with one big exception: we closed on both offense and defense! That alone is enough to show me we are not the same team. Last year we lose this game.
 
Na. The Redskins are the worse and most dysfunctional team in the league right now. They're going to have the number 1 pick. Bad at QB. Mediocre defensive front and secondary. Nothing about this performance was awe inspiring. We just squeaked by an awful team.

If you enjoy the 8-8 seasons that we have endured, surely you'll be content with this performance. But if you had expectatations of competing for the division? A playoff team? You should be disappointed with this showing.

Based on what the media? They have a regular bottom 10 QB, he's not all terrible and they have a good defensive front but bad secondary.
 
We won, period. Nothing else matters.

I'll take the win, but we beat a 4-12 team in ugly fashion. Criticism is well warranted.

I'll add that special teams was a decisive factor as well. Not just the punt return. The kid Franks had 3 out of 4 touchbacks, and the punter had a decent game as well.

Heck, I'm disappointed we didn't have a better showing either. There's things to work on no doubt. But I'll take 1-0 on the road to start the season. Go and beat the Jaguars...all that matters now.
 
Miami was favored heavily and barely won, and this is supposed to be the easiest stretch of games. 1 offensive td, the run defense was horrible. I don't think Cousins was sacked once. Jacksonville was kicking Miami's butt last year so that won't be a gimme. Buffalo always gives Miami problems, Miami has not beat Houston once, and in spite of being heavily favored against NY last year, the fins still lost. So I see that Miami could be 3 and 3 during their so called easy stretch. What will Miami do the rest of the season when they face really good offenses and defenses? There was nothing in this game that indicated that Miami is nothing more than an 8 and 8 team.
 
Whatever, whatever, whatever. I will take a road win to start the season. Yes, we need to look better, but we are 1-0. I will take it for now.
 
Miami won...but some things are frightening:

Miami's run defense

Miami's LBs especially at MLB

Miami's short yardage offense

Tannehill's long yardage accuracy.

Miami's tackling vs physical players.

No doubt. Lot of stuff to clean up- too much, in fact. Today's performance was not good enough. Happy to escape with a W though.
 
Miami was favored by 3 to 3.5 -- that a strange definition of 'heavily'

I'm with you, brother. And when we needed first downs to close it out, we got them. I will take the win.
