Then why do we win games when JAy is in there, and lose when he isn't such as when he got hurt the last few years. If the defense and rest of the team won the games, then why couldn't we win when Jay was out? Oh and ricky, Jay won games when ricky wasn't there, including lamar Smith second year when he was horrible, and we still won games..FACE IT! Perhaps Fiedler is better right now. So what? Is he the player that can take us to the status of a real contender? I think not. He has proven that he ,like many other Dolphins on both offense and defense, can compile mediocre statistics in winning regular season games as long as the stakes are'nt too high. Play a big game and he changes from a winning QB without good stats to a losing QB without good stats. Does he make the Dolphins a potential playoff contender this season? Are you kidding? Feely perhaps has some upside thet Fiedler does not and perhaps not. That is still to be determined. However, you cannot go into the offseason without having a good idea, lest the Dolphins want to call Jay the long term answer. Fiedler may result in a win or two more but what relevance does that have?

Your argument is very flawed, and Ithink it's because you are blinded by your animosity for Jay. First of all, you cannot compare an offensive lineman's record to a QB's record. Ther's five guys on the line, but only 1 QB, who is pretty much in charge of the offense. Second of all, while you may not like to look at the reality of numbers and facts, Jay has won 41 games for us, while the pick throwing surfer girl looks lost out there.

...with an all new line (now that Wade Smith is dropped)? Defenses know what to do to beat us with this line - bring the pressure and it opens a wide seem to the QB or RB. Who cares who the QB is until they start protecting the backs? Jay is not going to save this team.

I'd rather let AJ continue to learn to deal with it than bring back Jay. We've said anyone but Jay plenty. Do we need to already move on to anyone but AJ? I'm not ready for that.

Yeah winning record but conveniently forget that he has not one any games that mattered. The system produced the wins, Jay contributed, but it isnt like he created wins when the defense wasnt there. When the defense broke down we lost, if they held up we won.

Jay may be a better option right now, AJ is pressing too hard. The o-line is doing better but needs time and Jay is more mobile. Our rbs are a medical ward of their own so a mobile qb may be better. But AJ is going to go thru growing pains as I keep saying as Wanny said, those are not a one week thing, those last for games. He made better decisions last nite, the first int was a deep ball on a one on one, throw it up and let CC make a play, CC didnt. I read several articles where people said throw it up and let CC go after it, like all other teams do. CC jogged on that route, had he ran hard he could have at least knocked it down. The other int was a pass that got away, he lost his grip, this is a concern as it wasnt the first time nor the last time in that game. Is AJs hands small? If I were Wanny I would have AJ work after practice gripping and throwing wet balls, try gloves when its wet etc.. It wasnt a bad decision it was a bad throw. The almost int to farrior was a bad decsion but it was a catch 22, he was close to teh endzone and was getting hit, if he takes teh sack it is a safety, he int grounds in the endzone it is a safety. Where he threw it was wrong and he should have had a release he could have thrown at to throw it away.

Oh and almost ints, why is it when Jay's almost ints dont coiunt but AJs do? I remember several times arguing last year with Jay about ints he almost threw and all supporters, me included said that all qbs throw passes that could be int but arent. If a qb is so cautious to throw it is even more dangerous because he will hesitate too long. It is a maturation process. AJ is at a disadvantage becuase his maturation process is at the same time as the rbs, wrs, and o-lines. Until it all gels, this is what you can expect and Jay may improve some things being a vet, it wont be drastically better. Jay is not a qb that can carry a team on his back.

THe DOlphins traded away their second pick to avoid "the growing pains".They felt A.J can come in and get the job done.They couldn't be more far from the truth on A.J Feeley.The last 2 Rookie QB look better in every aspect compared to A.J Feeley.You saw a ROOKIE Roethlisberger make better reads while he under pressure than A.J and same could be said about Carson Palmer.

That was 1 half, and the score was 7-0. What did AJ do when he got in
? Throw a pick for 6. What has he done since then? Squat. Jay has led this team to numerous comebacks, and 7-0 wasn't very much.
