A winning QB on the bench

Lawrence said:
I never said he was soley responsible for anything, so please do not put words in my mouth. The Ravens had a phenomenal D, which is just a bit better than our D has been. Dilfer is much like Jay, gritty, and did what he needed to do to win. The game plan for the Ravens was play D and don't make mistakes on O. Mistakes like throwing picks for 6 like AJ.
You did say he was responsible. For 41 wins. Thats what you said in a few of your moronic posts way back in like the third page.

How can you jay-lovers really believe that we'd do better with him in there? Is it because, he can roll out of the pocket and avoid rushers? THE QB SHOULDN'T HAVE TO RUN FOR HIS LIFE, THATS WHAT BLOCKERS ARE FOR.

You say he has a winning record? :roflmao:

he was part of those wins, but c'om, really, give credit where its due, The defense and Ricky and larmar smith won 99% of our games. The only way you guys can say that Jay was the reason we won is if he threw for 300 yds and 3 TD's .........has he ever done that consistanlty? Heck no.....you nut-hugging jay lovers need to take a chill pill, b/c jay would do NO BETTER.

ok.......so if AJ isnt your QB of the future...youre willing to just hand out 2nd round picks to teams and on the first sign of adversity its time to cut the guy and move on....GREAT DECISIONMAKING THERE!

to respond to your post:

overthrows??? who wouldnt with no time to pass and a slick ball...

bad decisions???? the guy played 8 games at oregon and 5 for philly...he has every physical tool you want and his downfall is that he needs more reps...were not going to make the play offs...let him play!

I love the diversions that you and others are trying to pull. Fact is fact, AJ's not your savior just admit it! The team isn't responding to him and it's not just the o-line. When Chris Chambers joggs downfield and shows no concern for batting a floater down, you know something's up. Just shut it man, your petty arguments and word twisting aren't going to make up for AJ's 0-3 start. What, did you think a man with 9 career starts between college and the pro's was going to come in and light it up?????

Wouldn't do any better? Hahahahahahahahahahah so far the only thing we do KNOW is that AJ stinks the place up! And he's played 6 more quarters of football than Jay this season. Anything else is just pure speculation. You wreak of a man who backed the wrong QB it's funny...... it's oozing like a neon sign out of your rant-filled responses. Man I love board trolls.

If the only requirement for being an starter in this league was an arm to get the ball downfield, then my man we would've seen alot of others make it in this league. Face it, AJ Feeley is better at brushing his hair than making quick decisions.

Like your arguments for Jay arent petty. Guess what Jay is not the savior, he proved that over 4 years, Aj has had 2 games. Ignore that if you wish. But the FACT is FACT yes, but you gave NO FACTS, not one, YOU GAVE YOUR OPINION. Until he is cut or spend the next 2 seasons never making teh field, the bust question is debateable and therefore not fact. So stop acting as if you are any more objective than those that think you need to give an inexperienced qb playing with 9 new starters more than 120 minutes before determining he is a bust.

2 games eh? So the half he played in the Titans game doesn't count? It's just to be ignored like a tax write-off? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I am being more objective than guys like DaD*ck. He hates Fiedler and that's obvious, same for that XXxxxxxxx guy or whoever he is. They deny Fiedler's role in the 35+ games he helped win...........and they also deny AJ's 0-3 start........Oh I'm sorry 0-2 and half. lol ..............There's a winner on the sidelines and a loser playing .........it just bothers you to admit it. And don't even give me that "defense won games for us" crap ............if that were the case we'd be 3-0...........
And give me a friggin' break about objectivity. AJ's feeling the wrath that Jay got ever since his first snap with the Fins...............oh po'AJ ............

Face it you dont know any more than the rest of us. Yeah CC jogging means somethings up, that he is being selfish that is what. Yep our guys like Jay, course I am not sold that they dont just like status quo, where they are treated like superstar elite players without producing like elite when it counts. I wasnt sold the past 2 years that the team init s current and past 4 year makeup cares about winning it all. Yeah I know, it probably isnt true, but the way the whine, pizzes me off, voice your concern internally and go out and fuking play. Because CC wants Jay and has a chemistry now with Jay doesnt excuse not giving teh effort, that is sabotoging the team for personal interests. Funny how you excuse CC for not giving effort as if that is ok, yet AJ is inexperienced and he gets chastized for his effort.

I am tired of this argument. AJ may turn out to be a bust, that is true. But if 2 years from now if AJ is a top tier qb what will you say?

:roflmao: In "like" the 3rd page? I don't think so. You can't find anywhere on here me saying Jay is solely responsible for 41 wins. No 1 player in the world could be. I said he had a role in 41 victories like it or not. So until you find the supposed "moronic" quote of me saying Jay is solely responsible, keep the name calling down please. Oh yeah, why am I even arguing with you about a game you didn't even watch?:roflmao:

Obviously, I would take back my word. I did it earlier this year towards the end of preseason when I made the statement "I'm starting to see some potential in Feeley." However, it's 3 games in, and I'm flatout not seeing it. Imagine this, AJ right now is showing you how he'd respond if one day a good o-line wasn't playing well and he had to make rush decisions and overcome a deficient o-line play. We took a chance on a beyond-project player........... it was such a gamble and I'm still pissed to this day we spent a 2nd rounder on this guy, not to mention nearly 20 million. We've lost that gamble up to this point.

As for the Chambers thing...........I'm sorry man, he's been the pillar for consistency and playing the team game without lashing out, even during the most stressful times. He's allowed to show signs of something amuck. When Chris Chambers doesn't want AJ Feeley in, I'm sorry, you know something's up.
