I have never owned any jerseys other than my high school and dolphin jerseys, but I was thinking today that I just might have to get a Zach Cowboys jersey. I know this is blasphemy as far as I am concerned but what can I say I love the guy!! ZACH FOREVER!!!!!
 
I am right there with you. I would have never bought one had he signed with the pats, however, a saints or a Cowboy jersey is doable. I also have never owned another NFL jersey other than Phins and at last count I think have around nine of them. I will add a Thomas Cowboys jersey to my collection and not be ashamed to wear it.
 
I don't see any problem wearing a jersey of a player on another team. It is OK to support players of other teams without going against Miami. It doesn't make you less of a fan for doing it.
 
I can agree with SabanHater but either way I don't think it will make you a traitor or anything if thats what you're worried about.
 
I have an authentic aqua colored #54 Zach jersey....I just put it in a plastic dry cleaning bag and I will never wear it again, just like I never will wear my Marino jersey.

I could never get a Dallas Cowboys jersey but I hope Zach does well for them and gets a shot at a SB ring this upcoming year.
 
That is stupid ,Might as well go root for the cowboys then.I will never buy a jersey of a old Dolphin in a new jersey.The only team i wear is my Dolphins ,and my college football team I play for.A cowgirl jersey,NOOOOO WAY.Not wasting money for trash.Only Dolphins gear.True fans dont wear trash.
 
Love Zach but I dont want any idot cowboy fans coming up to me and saying "Im a Cowboy fan too!"

WTF? he was cut. He did not leave on his own. You wear the Dolphin Jersey till he retires! Yuo can't wear the jersey of another team.

The true fan bit, pretty played out IMO.
 
Why wear a team that you dont cheer for.I hate the cowgirls.I wouldnt be caught dead in a cowbays jersey.I am Dolphins allllllllllllllllllllllll the way.If i spend money on a jersey it wont be some passie cow girl jersey or another team.Wear your colors regardless.Im a fan that has always wore my gear even after a 4-12,1-15 seasons.Thats how dedicated iam.Now way i buy that other teams jersey.I wont even buy a jersey for my son if its not a Dolphins jersey.Sorry kid ask your Mom.I dont buy trash.Bottom line.

Here's the question you have to ask yourself. When would I wear a Thomas Cowboys Jersey...? The answer... atleast in my case... is probably never.

Not to a game... not on Sundays (Sundays are for 'phins jerseys... only one bye week... does not warrant a Cowboys jersey purchase) ... and not in public (like a guy said above... I don't want Cowboys fans waving at me).

Just the way I am... I'm a Dolphins fan. I used to like Seau back in the San Diego days... and I had a T-shirt with him on it... but never a Jersey. I've got plenty of other players on teams I like, but I wouldn't buy a Jersey... NBA I can understand... it's more of an individual sport, and easier to like Lebron or KG, or D.Wade all at the same time... but Football is a team sport, and my team is the Dolphins.
 
I will only wear Dolphins gear. I told my wife that I am following my beloved Dolphins as always, along with the Chargers cause I live here in the San Diego area, and of course the Cowboys because of Zach.
 
I love Zach, but would only wear a Dolphins jersey. The online pro shop at miamidolphins.com actually put the Zach "replica" jerseys on sale for $9.99 this past week (normally priced at $74.99). I did not have a Zach jersey, so I picked one up before they sold out. Hopefully, the Phins will retire his jersey down the road at some point.
