Absolutely great draft.

Ronnie was considered the best player by many.

We got a 1st round guy in the 2nd.

and Crowder... WOW!! was 1st round a week ago, this could be the steal of ever!

In Saban we trust... you da man!!
 
We basically got 3 first round picks in the first day.. Absolutely amazing in my opinion.
 
3 legitimate first round picks over three rounds. I would have liked Blackstock but Crowder is a monster in the middle of our new 3-4
 
Nick Saban has an absolute A++++ so far.

Here, we have Ronnie Brown, Matt Roth, and Channing Crowder. None projected past the 3rd round.

In some mocks, ALL projected in the 1ST ROUND!!!

Nick is kicking the NFL's @ss so far!!!!!
 
I'm very happy, but I'm also prepared for all of the backlash from those who disagree with us drafting defensively.
 
i´m a little concerned about crowder´s knees, why not blackstock rather ?

Edit: forget my concerns, here is what i just found about him :

In pass coverage, Crowder is a little a stiff in his hips, but shows an excellent burst and quickness out of his breaks. He is like a safety in short-area coverage, as Crowder can easily cover tight ends and running backs in the flats. He is also a solid deep-coverage defender who can easily run with receivers in his zone. As a blitzer, he explodes when coming off the edge and is very disruptive and productive in the opponent's backfield. He is very active working down the line and moves quickly to get into position to make plays. Rarely will you see him take false steps in zone coverage, staying in control to make proper reads.

those taht disagree with drafting defense dont know ****, bates and everyone else that has football knowledge knew defense was first.. with our offense was mostly coaching..
 
I just hope crowder stays healthy , If he does this draft will be remembered for years , so far 3 monster players .
 
I would give him a solid 98 (A+) so far. I couldn't have asked for more. And a question for those who think we should have drafted offensively: who do you propose we should have taken? Our defense is both overrated and aging quickly, while our offense (under the brand new tuteldge of Linehan/Houck) is young and underrated IMO. We filled the biggest hole on offense with Ronnie Brown, and are now stocking our defense with players for the future. We didn't make sexy picks, but we made picks that will improve the team.
 
our offense was mostly RB... thats sorted, we got Ronnie Brown.
 
I love our draft so far. Saban is a genius for these moves. Loving life right now.
 
I like the guys he's picked, but I REALLY wanted to see us get a first-day WR. We need one badly. I sure hope he has plans about getting one.
 
We have had the best draft thus far(with traditional 1-2-3 picks), obviously Dallas has had a hell of a draft with Ware, Spears, & Burnett.

I'd give Cleveland the second best with Braylon, Pool, & Frye followed by Arizona with Antrel, Arrington, & Eric Green.
