This guy was just cut by the bills.....could he provide some depth for us?
 
if you look up the definition of bust in the dictionary there's a picture of aaron maybin
 
Why is it, when someone gets cut, we always end up with one of these threads? What has Maybin shown, to warrant him a try out?

Have we fallen so far that we're looking at picking up Buffalo's trash? Seriously?
 
He can't play football period. He weighed 235 lbs in college as a DE. Buddy Nix, our GM, (who didn't pick him and likes big players) said picking him was stupid.

Against the Bears he got thrown on the ground by a running back. He's not going to be picked up by anyone.
 
U never know. Cam Wake was cut early in training camp and did not geta call for two years from any NFL team and now he is one of the best pass rushers in the league. Never say never
 
Cam Wake has the size to play linebacker.

The only way Maybin resurrects his career is if he's willing to switch to safety. And I don't think that's going to happen.
 
if anyonee can coach him and make him good... our defensive coordinator mike nolan can.... along with jason taylor teaching him.

I don't know if he lacks desire but it certainly appears that he doesn't have the size. I'm just glad that we didn't end up drafting him because if I remember correctly there was quite a bit of interest and a lot of people thought he was the prototypical 3-4 OLB.
