Aaron Rogers and Brady...

I get where he was going with the argument. I just wanted to comment that Rodgers' body language lately has been very telling. Guy is not having a good time.

Even the best QBs in the league need a functioning OL to succeed.

That he needs an all-pro line in order to make the playoffs? He certainly had a superior defense (as hard as that may be to believe) and WR corps. Many of the criticisms against Tannehill are 100% valid. Extremism support is just as bad as extremism criticism.

As for whether Rodgers is enjoying himself, who cares? He still managed 10 wins in arguably his worst season, and he did it almost entirely by himself. Put his team on his shoulders, if you will.

And Brady...probably best to leave anything resembling a comparison at the door from this point on. Just silly.

I remember Brady could have had guy off street at wr and he would make plays...yes.. Because he is elite..also his oline gave him time to do it..

The point I was trying to make was that if you don't have a decent oline its hard for even great QBs to have success.. Not comparing elite QBs with Tanny

Like making the playoffs or, better, earning a 1st round bye in the playoffs?

The bottom line for me is Tanny needs to step up..along with fixing our lousy oline...

Clearly and Obviously that was not the OPs point and you know it. His point was even the best QBs in the league will struggle if they aren't given sufficient protection.

Don't be a buzzkill.. the noob is "hooked on a feeling"

Yes they do but those two are in the playoffs and we aren't. The team needs an enema. I hope Tannenbaum doesn't screw this HC search.

If "not screwing it up" means finding a meek yes man like Mangini who won't embarrass a former failed bean counter's football expertise and will agree with drafting the likes of Kyle Wilson and Vernon Gholsten, then you are most likely correct.

They struggled right into the playoffs, like every other year. Such is the life of teams with great QBs.

When their o-lines started struggling at the tail end of the seasons Brady went 2-4 and Rodgers went from undefeated to not even winning his division.

Exactly Despacio... That's what I was trying to point out...

I was just thinking about how tough of a time those 2 are having behind swiss cheese offensive lines....just a thought ;)

Brady led his O to 29 PPG this year(3rd in NFL- they were 4th last year) w/ a season high of 51 and 12 wins. Your offense scored more than 29 pts two times all season and had a season high of 37.

NE's OL was in shambles all year, when they started getting banged up they still averaged 25 PPG going 2-4 which included 3 non offensive TDs allowed and a game Brady was hurt early in it.

It's been painful to watch Aaron Rodgers the last few weeks. His body language tells the whole story, he looks so dejected lately. Bad OL, receivers that get no separation. I feel bad for him. Still think they can beat the Redskins on Sunday.

I thought elite QBs elevated the team though? We always try and talk about football being a complete team sport. But even guys like Brady need to have good WRs to succeed.

did you miss that he has led O to 29 PPg this year and even late in the season w/ injuries to 25 PPG? Brady once made a title game w/ reche Caldwell and Jabar gaffney as his main weapons w/ no run game. I haven't watched Rodgers as closely but last I checked despite all the injuries they won 10 games and are playing this weekend.

I was told on here that elite QBs elevate their team even if Betty White is the WR. Suddenly Brady and Rodgers, even with good seasons, are vulnerable b/c of injuries. It doesn't add up to me.

I've always been of the mindset that great teams are great b/c they have a blend of good players to great players. Brady is an all-time even with average WRs. The WRs still have to get open and make plays. Jabar Gaffney was in Miami for a time. Did he do ****? Of course not. But that's b/c they didn't have talent at the QB position.

Rodgers' bad year had him throw 31 TDs to 8 INTs. I'd take that season any day.

We would all take Rogers or Brady...Tannahill is not them...so if they have injuries on their teams and don't win every game...how do u all expect Tanny to???

Brady has been doing like 2/step drops just to survive..Rogers is running for his life now...sounds alot like what Tanny has been doing for yrs .... But then again they are in playoffs...so I stand down...
