Well we have a whole new program at TXSTATE the last three years, with an awesome new coach who really brings out the best in people.

If you watch you will see a lot of "Big Fred", and other spectacular players too.

The big topic of conversation in San Marcos has been how well Big Fred did in his NFL debut.

We are all very proud of him and we are all ordering NFL season ticket so we can watch him play.:dolphins:

A #7 round pick that will only get better ...this guy could be the steal of the draft for us and welcome aboard as a dolphin fan!!!

I've always respected the state of Texas when it comes to putting out great DTs, and its really nice to see another Texas football team get some credit besides the Longhorns and Texas Tech. If TXState keeps creating great players, then we will keep drafting em!
 
He played his butt off the last two games. I would love to see him anchor the line for the next 15 years.

We like him too! :D He plays with a lot of fire and seems like he has a pretty high upside. At the very least a good rotational DT.

Big Fred is number 55 on the Highlight Reels.

There never will be another Timbo but our DT situation now and for the future is enviable. Evans and Wright...Rodrique that is will be anchoring our DL when we play for future SBs..I hope.
