I just wanted to get something off my chest. I know that most everyone here is a diehard Dolphins fans. That being said, I am utterly amazed at how many empty seats I saw at the stadium today. Abysmal is an understatement. For a game with playoff implications, the fans were an embarrassment! Does anyone know what the attendance was? Additionally, I have a question pertaining to making proper adjustments. Why does it seem that we've had several games where adjustments aren't made until the 2nd half? Is Sparano not able to make the proper adjustments until then? Weathering onslaughts in the first half doesn't seem like a proper way to win games.

Well, I don't blame them. We put up the most embarassing first half I may have ever seen. However, the fans that stayed were just amazing. From the "Let's go Dolphins" to the "REFS YOU SUCK". They got loud when they needed to, and were just awesome.

i thought the game was sold out?? people might have left at halftime cuz of the score to beat traffic who knew it was gonna be a close ending whoever left didnt get there moneys worth

i guess people buy tickets in the second half

the local cbs channel bought the remaining tix to make it a sellout, happens every week

granted, but we sucked so i understand. they had yet another opportunity to go over .500 and blew it. not a surprise.

then you start sellin out every game thats when they hit you with the PSL's.

Well I cannot speak for anyone else but if I lived in South Florida, I would probably go to a game anyway. It has nothing to do with being a true fan or whatever. I personally don't like to be surrounded by drunk *******s who spill beer all over me or my wife or getting lucky enough to have the opposing teams fans behind us to throw **** at us.

I wonder how many of the people in the stands are die hard fans anyway. NFL games aren't cheap and I could see it as people who have no clue about football going so they can say that they did. They don't know the difference between a first down and a field goal. Add the new nightclub scene that Ross is building and you may see even more of this.

well i personally have never had beer poured on me or anything thrown at me but if you have had the experiance i feel bad for you

alot of it has to do with money. Alot of people cant afford going to a game anymore. $8 a beer?! $5 for a hot dog. $25 to park. $100 tickets. Its expensive as hell to go to a game.

I won't go back to a game unless it is in a box seat. I could afford one no problem but I would rather watch it at home. People are ignorant. I quit going to sporting games because of it.

I think having to pay for parking is crazy. I don't drink very often so the beer does not affect me but, to take a family it would cost me a small fortune just to go see the team.

Guess the Fins will always retain the label of being one of the worst fan bases...locally anyways

That's because many of the people that can afford to go to the games living in Miami are from someplace else. Many people have no loyalty to the Phins, and could care less about seeing them play unless it's against their Teams from the North East(NY, NE and Buff), or we're winning. If Miami wins that Buffalo and Tenn Game the stadium would have been full. But we had the case of the Chokes and blew it.

From my point of view seeing the Dolphins play in the Orange Bowl for many years and feeling the excitement up close, I've always HATED JRS/Pro Player/Dolphins/Land Shark...whatever they're going to call it. You feel like your pushed too far away from the action, plus having to play on a dirt infield until late Sept is total BS for a franchise that is worth upwards of a Billion dollars(over that with Stadium).
