"All" it will take to trade up to the number two spot is 2 #1 picks........Now that seems reasonable in order to draft RGIII! That deal is apparently on the table now and the deal can be consummated at anytime. With the Fins track record, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for PM to make us his choice. With the young talent on the roster I would rather have the QB of the future than Peyton who gives us an immediate chance to win though I don't think he would bring us to the promised land by himself............

if true, the price for that #2 pick sure seems to be dropping quick.

I am ok with Peyton Manning and RG3.....why not get greedy and go after both? Peyton can groom RG3 until he is ready three years from now.

Can someone please explain, if he was released, does he not have to clear the waiver wire first?

Or due to the fact he was not resigned, he becomes a free agent?

I'll answer my own question, which makes no sense. " Because he was released and went on the waiver wire Wednesday, Manning is allowed to negotiate and sign with any club immediately; he does not need to wait until the free-agent period that begins next Tuesday, and said his agent already was taking calls."

So what happens after next Tuesday?

I suspect he will probably sign before then?

I agree with you brother. That is what I have been saying for weeks. This fascination of Mannung must stop. Let's make a deal now and get out franchise QB. If we don't do it now, we will be looking for another QB in 2-3 years max.

I'd rather Manning "groom" Tannehill at #8 than give up 2 1st rounders.
