According to ESPN......

The Manning frenzy is sickening. All of the people that have been complaining about not having a franchise QB are ok with Manning being a quick fix and ignoring the future.

What's that quote about insanity...................

Yeah I know what you mean. People forget, that when we went after Culpepper he was coming off a major injury. They seemed to forget that. They also forget Manning is 36 and coming off a major neck surgery. My god man, if we sign him I will support this team for good or bad but why not make thigns exciting around here for many more years to come by drafting RG 3.

You mean the same year we passed on Drew Brees who was coming off a serious injury as well? Seem to forget that. And a Peyton Manning at 80% is ten times the QB Culpepper ever was.

Why not both? Why would the Dolphins go out and get RG3 to learn behind Manning for 2 years?

I dont think its mannings job to mentor anybody thats why we have a coaching staff that gets paid to coach. If we dont have an assistant head coach and qb coach who can bring along the youngster, why are we paying them. I like tannehill sitting behind peyton as well. If manning passez on miami im all for drafting rg III second for 2a first rounders.

I hope that everybody is good and confident in landing Peyton now since the Redskins have now officially landed RGIII!!!!!!! If Peyton signs elsewhere it will be back to Harbaugh, Jeff Fisher all over again and a total loss for this franchise........stay tuned!

3 firsts and a second? washington gets fleeced as per usual. glad we didnt make that deal. i would for Luck, but not Griffin.

peyton manning costs no picks.... RG III just cost 4 picks... and three consecutive 1st rounders...

if peyton manning comes here and doesn't pan out, what are we out? cash??? big deal. If he does pan out, well than we are probably looking at 2-3 consecutive playoff berths minimum...

nobody is saying sign him to a ten year deal. we can still draft a qb who can sit, and still build through the draft. this isn't a tough concept to follow...
