The first week against the Jets we played them close and we shouldve won. If Ginn knocks that ball away we get one more shot at the endzone. Last week we get destroyed in all aspects of the game. This week we looked like a whole different team. They were explosive, they looked hungry and like they were all on the same wavelength.

Offense: First of all that formation they were doin had the Patriots totally confused. Ronnie and Ricky should be running like that every game. Thats what my expectations were of them from the start. I dont expect Ronnie to get 4 TD's every game but they should definately be running like that every weekend. They looked sharp, Ricky had a bunch of nice runs. I was hopin hed get over the 100 yard mark too. Ronnie was just a beast all day. With the 4 TD's you'd think hed have like 200+ yards but he didnt even need the yards. We moved the ball so methodically it was almost surreal. It was hard for me to believe that we were so dominant. Pennington was accurate and he was throwin the ball 20+ yards. They really opened up the field and it shows what we can be when we do that. The receivers were actually catchin the ball. I noticed Ginn on the field for a change. Camarillo's not bad, its a shame that hes our #1 receiver and we dont got someone better but the guy shows he works hard and can get open. Our TE's seem like theyre actually pretty good. I feel like when Pennington tosses one out to Martin he always will get that first down by getting his momentum to fall forward an extra yard or 2. But overall for offense i was so impressed and so happy to finally see what all of us Dolphins fans see in the team.

Defense: Obviously there was no Tom Brady and thats gonna be the NFL Networks analysts and Patriots arguements. Tom Brady or not the defense played alot better than they did in the previous 2 games. Joey Porter finally showed he can still be a good player in this league. The linebackers played good, they stopped the run and held them to minimal gains in the passing game. The D-Line was pushin their O-line back a couple yards and allowin the LBs to get through. They were puttin some pressure on Cassel. The safeties and corners can still use a little work but they played better too. I still think we need to just get rid of Renaldo Hill. I feel like hes the worst one out there on D. The game against the Jets on that play where Favre just threw it up he came running in and left that guy wide open to just catch that jumpball. Last week he looked really bad and this week he has balls bouncin off the side of his helmet. He just looks like he dont know whats goin on out there most the time.

Special Teams: Our kick coverage needs some improvement. We let Ellis Hobbs get to like our 25 yard line on that one kickoff. I know it happens sometimes but if it happens in a close game it could be the difference maker.

Patriots Fans: How great was it to see them filing out the back of the stadium at the start of the 4th quarter. That was priceless for me, i hate the Pats and their fans and to see that was just great. Let them get a taste of what its like to get blown out for a change.

Overall i think if we continue to keep the running game goin the way it did and open up the field with longer plays we'll have a decent season. Im not predictin playoffs or nothin like that but it would be nice. Yesterday showed what we can be with good play calling and everything and everyone coming together. With the running game comes the passing game and vice versa. It showed that were not the laughing stock people make us out to be. Were just a young team who had to start from the ground up. It sucks that we cant carry the momentum of the win into next week cuz of the bye but hopefully the extra week off will give them some extra time to work on some of the needs and things theyve done wrong.

Like I said last week. Arizona was an aberration. It was a multitude of Worst Case scenarios coming true. I thought even after that game we would be competitive. This was a great win, if only for confidence in what has been preached by the staff. We are not going to the playoffs but we will surprise some playoff teams.

Wasnt' that J Allen that screwed up on that play, my memory sucks, but I remember being pissed that J.Allen was still playing for us after that play.

And sadly Renaldo Hill is one of the better DB's on our staff after Bell.
