Look according to the earlier reports he didn't seem to understand the structure so IMO WHY would you not meet again with Ross to have those questions answered & at that point decide to move on or not. Look he knows more than I do & if he feels he should not move forward then so be it but it just seems odd to stay with Browns with an owner being investigated & a football czar in Banner & GM in Lombardi. To be honest I would rather have someone that is passionate about this opportunity.

#Brown CEO Joe Banner said asst GM Ray Farmer is remaining with the Browns. Was a finalist for Miami GM.

I will be honest. There were a lot of things about Farmer I liked. He seemed to be ready for the jump. Could have tied a decent FO together with some other hires.

However, after today's events, for some reason my gut instinct is relief that he did not want the job. Maybe it is because I support Gaine so much at this point. However, I do not have the same feeling of past spurnings with Harbaugh, Fisher and Gamble…kind of a "damn, we missed one" moment. I do not feel that way tonight.

Does the team look bad? Yep. No doubt. Tough times….it was not hard to predict. However, I do not think Farmer is a significant loss in the end. The fact he did not interview and get his answers in that session shows he something is missing.

Move on to Brian Gaine.

This franchise has officially cratered, jumped the shark, **** the bed, etc.

It's bad enough this guy would rather stay with the Browns than join the Dolphins, but he won't even accept a promotion from the Dolphins. I don't particularly care about losing out on Farmer because I wasn't impressed by his track record (outside of graduating from Duke), but this franchise looks worse and worse every day.

If I had a dime for every time someone posted that on here I'd be able to buy the Dolphins myself lol.

If you had a dime for every time Ross made a good decision, you'd be flat broke.

I don't mind philbin, but its time we stop mixing and matching prior regimes with new ones. Each year we have sucked since the start of the decade has been mixes of old coaches/old GMs.. if you clean house its a non-issue with prior obligations or questioning duties.. We seem to make it awkward all the time. Stop.
