Adam Beasley says offense needs work. 8/5/16

Shocking. The brand new offense being installed isn't a well oiled machine a week into camp? Baffling.

Keeping my worries squarely focused on the atrocity known as our CB position. Worrying about the other aspects of this team at this point is like worrying about the sniffles while you have a giant, beachball-sized tumor growing out of your forehead.

You would think the offense would move the ball down the field with how bad our CB's are.

They also have been saying all the CBS minus Maxwell are getting beat deep

Yeah there's a few tweets about that already in the other thread.. Seems like the offense isn't doing god awful today. But I mean come on man, this is TC and its expected considering the offense is still being learned

But it does sound like the protection has been pretty bad so far today

Oh I don't doubt protection is struggling. Honestly based on what I'm hearing, would not shock me if Gase decides to move on from James at RT in the future

games played in 11 on 11...Miamis o thus far isn't doing squat in it

despite running what sounds like mostly no huddle...sounds like today the tackles with the 1's are the issue

I wonder if that is why Turner is getting a good amount of work at RT?

This could have more legs than we think and I do think Turner is the guy they would envision at RT.

That was the issue with the James pick . . . Very low ceiling, scheme specific OT drafted top 20. Was always going to be a low return, but I understood the panic with Tannehill getting sacked nearly 60 times in 2013. Turner always had more upside despite being drafted in round 3.

Its been a week into practice and the defense is always ahead of the offense.

I think we're getting way ahead of ourselves. They had Billy Turner at LT the other day. I think the plan for Turner long-term is swing tackle.

That said, Billy Turner has played some at tackle for us when injuries forced it, and he was actually pretty good at it. I think moving him back to that position is the right call. I know that the desire is to get the best 5 on the field, but he's got a lot of value there.
