Do you feel that Adam Gase will call read-option plays for Tannehill on critical downs?
If we address the offensive-line issue on draft day and in FA; and enough improvements come from such decisions, then I say heck yeah!

You?

it doesnt matter if he runs the RO, ITS ALL ABOUT THE OL AND THE DEFENSE. PERIOD!

We need a major infusion of talent on defense. Then upgrade both guard positions. This isn't a 1 year fix. More like 3 years.

You can't put a firm timetable on any of this...the 99' Rams proved that when they were 250-1 to win the superbowl....started out as dogs on a perceived 3-5 year plan.....and ended up "the greatest show on turf"...and champions of the world.

So spare me the long term bs rhetoric...every year you try to put it all together and win it all...period.

not saying a team or its fans shouldn't want to win a championship every year, but it's not realistic. If every year all 32 teams try to put it all together and win it all you would expect that teams in 2016 that were dominate in 2015 to be better than teams that weren't very good in 2015. Sure it happens every once in a while but to expect it to happen is setting yourself up for disappointment. The good news is outside of maybe three or four teams at the top and three or four at the bottom the rest of the teams are not that far apart, so it doesn't take a huge improvement to at least compete for a playoff spot.

it should always be an option when the D is caught on, not a feature of the O

I think it will be more about what RT and the O-line are capable of consistently executing correctly

It is not good using the read option if rt NEVER runs,

or if the line cannot block it.

Just like it will do Gase no good to create an offense that rt is not quick enough to execute

or a power running offense that the line cannot block for

Whatever they do will be a compromise based on our personnel

this is why I get the feeling that it will not be very different from what we have been running.

The QB will be the same guy

Jump ahead 1 year from the 99' Rams.....99' Ravens 8-8....2000 champions.

Point being...there is no set rule on timetables....and every year each team should try to find the right mix of players and mixed with some injury luck....that culminates in the stars aligning...and a world championship.

The 71'-74' Dolphins were a dominate team that simply outsmarted...made less mistakes...and beat their opponents.

No one....can sit here today and say with certainty...that Adam Gase won't have Ryan Tannehill and the 2016 Dolphins playing for all the marbles.

Anyone who states that...simply hasn't been watching this game long.

Its easy to be negative...only one out of 32 wins it all every year!

Only one team out of 32 wins it all but going 7 years without a winning season or a playoff berth is beyond luck.
dolphin fans have quite a right to be negative if they feel like it.

Yes...everyone has the right to be negative.

The point stands that you cannot say with certainty that a team can go from worst to first in one year...it happens.

More in football than just about any other sport I think.
