Never heard of the show to be honest, but decent interview with our new HC here: http://www.big1059.com/onair/paul-and-young-ron-show-47897/interview-coach-adam-gase-14279416/

Bit more laid back interview with "Coach Goose"

Wants to "develop a swagger to put fear in the other team"

Don't care how many of you scream "Philbin" Gase has a personality and I am a big fan. Said he has reached out to Alumni, will have lunch with Shula in the next few days

Paul and Young Ron are a morning rush-hour talk show on BIG 105.9, which is a South Florida classic rock station. Old timers. Comedy-oriented.

Cool that he would interview with them!

They've been on South Florida FM radio for different hard rock stations as djs for over 30 years in South Florida, going back to 103 SHE many years ago.

I can't get that link to play for some reason...

I think he'll be on with Joe Rose next week which should be worth the listen.

still working fine for me on chrome, little slow to load

Wow, Paul and fat old Ron are still on the air. I remember listening to those two old farts when I was a kid.

Really good interview. Not sure how you uncovered it, but nice find, UK.

Gase gives good answers throughout, not just in this interview, but with Lebatard, in the presser, etc. He's nothing like Cameron, Sparano, and Philbin. Ross deserves plenty of criticism, but just because prior offensive coaches without NFL head coaching experience did not work, does not mean that Gase wouldn't work. Give Ross credit for not doing the simple thing and saying he's not hiring an offensive coordinator just because he got burned like that before.

Gase comes across so much more impressively than the predecessors. He's not queasy. He wants to go hang 50 on somebody. He's not afraid of his own shadow or going to pump fist field goals. Listen to the Antrelle Rolle interview where he calls him "fiery." He's a competitor. He's clearly smart.

EDIT

If you want to hear the Antrelle Rolle interview, here's a link, just scroll down the list to find it. He talks about being a defensive player on the Bears and provides some interesting behind the scenes glimpses into Gase from a defensive player's perspective. Good stuff.
