The departure of Bears coordinator Adam Gase for Miami and tight end Martellus Bennett to New England is expected to knock Chicago off this list and elevate both the Dolphins and Pats; Seattle thrived in the set even after losing Jimmy Graham to a season-ending knee injury, and figures to remain atop this list with his healthy return. Carolina, despite not making the Top 5, is viewed as an industry leader with Greg Olsen; Cincinnati was deadly in the red zone when using the formation with Tyler Eifert, and Cleveland found success doing the same with Gary Barnidge; and Kansas City figures to use Y-ISO even more heavily as Kelce hits his professional prime.

part that's missing is that eifert and kelce are just flat out better talents and individual win mismatch tight ends than Cameron is

yeah they are all move tight ends and the other 2 have murdered individual matchups while Cameron has lost more than he should despite attempts by the scheme to get him good matchups

frankly Cameron was disappointing in 2015...that said it was smart to bring him back cause in gase scheme I expect him to also find good matchups...he just has to win them...unlike 2015

if not 2016 should be his last in Miami...

eifert is a red zone monster and kelce can't be covered one on one in space

jordan cameron had 80rec and 7td in 2013 catching passes from jason campbell, brandon weeden and brian hoyer. sorry man i dont think he's the problem.

yeah I know it's the qbs fault the guy loses one on one in his stem vs dbs he towers over and carries coverage vs zone

The problem is he hasn't done anything else the rest of his career. If you take out his 2013 season he has only caught 50% of his career targets.

If you watch older Cameron tape he used to move like a wide receiver playing tight end. Now he moves like a tight end. He's not a quick or fluid as he was when he was younger and prior to some of his injuries. He still moves decently for a tight end, but he's not the same match up nightmare he was when he was younger.

correct...he's not the same move athlete as he was prior and he lost some of his "willing to mix it up physically" after the concussion issues

his catch rate on percentage of targets is flat poor and it's a result of two things...not the same level athlete and frankly being soft at the catch point stem and out of his cuts when competing for the football

more than anything I think his issues are he's jjust not willing to use his big body to create separation and space

you have to factor in the concussion issues after 2013. im not saying the guy is a superstar, but he came to miami and was relegated to scrub status. that's not the first player that has happened to in the last 4 years.

 I see Chip Kelly's team

Not to mention cameron was used 80% of the time as a blocker because we couldnt stop blitzes. Even the coaches said that was what was happening to cameron and his production, they had to have him stay and block. But, if one actually paid attention last year, almost everytime they let cameron go out it was a 1st down, big play or td.

Not seeing the rub on cameron at all. Very, very unwarrented. In fact, i will call it now. Jordan Cameron will make the pro bowl in 2017. Unless the o-line once again is a turnstyle and he has to stay and block, the pro bowl should be no problem for him.

Wow, that's a bold statement. Don't see Cameron making the probowl out of the afc. You got gronk, Kelce, Delanie walker, and Bennett plus Demarius Thomas.

When healthy, Eifert is becoming that exact monster we all knew he would when we so heavily advocated for drafting him. He isn't Gronk, but he may be moving into that #2 position ... he's that good. Jimmy Graham was in an ideal system for him in New Orleans. Now he is in a system at Seattle that doesn't use him like they should, and his career has fallen off a cliff so to speak. But Eifert ... yep, he's become a dominant TE.

In this league 2013 is like another century. That was a long time ago. Things change rapidly.

This is a "what have you done for me lately" league. And 2013 doesn't fall under lately.
