To say the Dolphins have been hit with the injury bug would be an understatement.

Currently, the Dolphins have 10 players on injured reserve after Jakeem Grant’s season-ending leg injury. On Monday, Dolphins head coach Adam Gase indicated that owner Stephen Ross has an understanding of what the team has gone through as it related to their injury situation.

“Every time I see him after a game or talk to him during the week, ‘Just keep grinding,” Gase said. “Don’t think too much about injuries.’ I think he looks at that of we’ve lost some good players. That’s something that is always unfortunate. He can see those big plays when they were occurring with Albert (Wilson) and what we get from Jakeem (Grant) and when we were hitting some deeper throws with Ryan (Tannehill) in there. He sees all of that stuff, and when those guys aren’t there anymore, he understands that we’ve got to do what we’ve got to do to try to move the ball and win the game.”

No changes this offseason. More of the same next season.

Because coaches never use coach speak and owners never change their mind, *ever*

And the "excuses, excuses" post in T minus 5, 4... :munch::guard:

A few people have scoffed that our “mediocre” QB might be coming back this week.

If Gase has a winning record with that mediocre QB, what does that say about Gase? The haters can’t have it both ways.

Gase will be here another year, as he should.

Gase will be here. I think if the defense shits the bed anymore this season then Burke is gone. I think given Thills contract he will be back next year, but that being said I think if those rumors about the kid from Oregon are true they will give up a randsom to move up and take him. That way Gase gets a freebie year (again). To groom the next QB and THill is able to be released next year. If a QB is not brought in next year to challenge Thill then I think that will seal Gase’s fate.

I don't know if Gase should stay but he should stay. That probably doesn't make any sense to anyone but me.
