21-21. 18 out of those 21 victories have been 8 points or less, 1 score victories. 16 out of the 21 losses have been by double digits. That's very telling.

Telling how exactly? Are you reflecting on Gase as a coach or the personnel on the field?

Well, those numbers could be saying that we squeak out wins against teams that are mostly mediocre, and an occasional heavyweight; but usually when we play a heavyweight, we get our a$$e$ handed to us.
Also.....that has happened to us for a LONG time now.

I am NEVER going to spin winning 1 score games into a negative. For a long time we couldn't win those. Go back and check out oh so thrilling 2007 season.

The Gase project seems doomed to me. I know the injuries have been terrible, but sometimes things just don't work out and I'm beginning to think this is the case with the Gase era. He may find more success and luck elsewhere and all the best to him if he does.

Gase has admitted that his mindset is "let's just keep this close in the 4th quarter." When you go into games thinking like that you get outcomes like they have been, barely winning or getting blown out. He's also admitted to overthinking play calling. This guy is supposed to be a offensive genius. The NFL is designed for scoring. All the new rules definitely benefit the offense. Yet, this team really struggles to do so. Maybe a new mindset is needed?

How many of those games did he get to coach a team that had his starting quarterback, as opposed to the brock osweiler and jay cutlers of the world?

(no need to chime in with anything related to "have a better back up" and that's his fault too, since the thread appears to be about his coaching ability, thanks).

With a healthy team, he went 11-5. With unhealthy teams, he's below .500

Not saying he doesn't have his problems, but he is at least an above average coach.

His point differential with superstar Tannefail is still -38.

Gase is still infatuated with him. I think I saw him wear an “I <3 shitty qbs” T-shirt the other day.

While it’s cute that Gase has won some games with backup QBs, let’s stop pretending that we’re talking about the dropff from Aaron Rodgers to DeShone Kizer.

What are you talking about? There were injuries all over 2016. Jones, Misi, Pouncey, Howard, Bushrod, Tannehill.

Tannehill has a losing record as a starting qb. Osweiler actually has a better winning percentage as a starting qb in this league. Let's not act like Tannehill is a good qb and the reason for Miami not being able to produce points or win games. And I'm not saying Osweiler is a better qb than Tannehill, I'm just stating that he's not the savior.

That doesn’t matter. Green Bay as a team is more talented than Miami. People want to bash the coach up there but fail to realize Rodgers hasn’t done anything to help that team. He’s just as responsible for the average years as Mcarthy.

In 2016 Gase (10-6) had the second worst point differential with teams that were 8-8 or better.
