In point 5, he says "We get it, everybody loves the Lions this year. But if you want to look for a true surprise team, it will be the Dolphins. Miami has a favorable schedule, good defense and will get just enough from Chad Henne to reach the AFC playoffs as a wild card."

Even if it's Adam Rank, it's nice to see some national media support.. Although I quite like the feeling of being an underdog.

Adam Rank is one of my favorite writers on NFL.com and also very good with Fantasy insight.

This just adds frosting to the cake! Rank is a very smart man.

I think Miami has a damn good chance at the playoffs IF Henne plays well, but having a favorable schedule??? Really? How so?
NE week 1, gonna be a brutally tough game to win.
Houston week 2, we have never beaten them so that's a tough game.
At Cleveland and at SD weeks 3 & 4 will be tough because both are on the road and SD will be a good team this yr.
At Jets, Giants, Chiefs, Cowboys, Bills and Pats(end of season in cold..ugh) are all difficult road games. Playing Philly and NYJ at home won't be easy either. We have a few games we "should" win vs Den, Oak, Buff and Wash, but who knows what will happen. I'd say we have one of the toughest schedules, but hopefully they can overcome it and make Wild Card. Indy is gonna have it tough this year so I think that only helps our chances. What do you all think??

Phins can definitely surprise, but it will take some good luck with respect to injuries.

Glad you posted this near end of work day so the actual Fins Fans on this site can enjoy at least a dollop of rare positivity before any "cognitive dissonance" rolls around to derail the good vibes.

Heh the comments on that page are classic, there must be a line of 50 or so jets fans ready to jump from the chrysler building just based on that article... for their sake's i hope they do well this year, eh... i guess we could do without em anyways on second thought.

hey man we will be ok i have faith in this team, and we will make it to the playoffs we just going to have to take it one game at a time and not worry about other games right now just like the players do so, hey this team is going to be a really sick!!!! team and this is the team i have been waiting for patiently lets just have faith and not think negatively ,i just love the way chad henne is playing now with confidence and not being scared of getting sacked i love how he steps up to give him time to find his target and most of all when was the last time you heard that our quarter back had a chance to be the teams captain :hi5: that is going to be the spark to this team and what better team like the patriots to prepare us for the journey we are going to man!!! i cant wait for the monday night opeaner i cant wait to beat the patriots, remember when the panthers won all there 4 preseaon games and said they are going to be really good and make the playoffs what happened they went 1 and 15 and the next year they were talking smack about them the next year and what happen they went to the super bowl and almost won it i believe in miracles and i believe that we will make it there too this year so go dolphins!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Dolphins are a better team than most sports writers are giving them credit for.

Better than the Jets? I honestly don't believe they are. Jets have a solid OL which gives them the advantage every time.

This team has a MUCH better chance at ending up with the number overall pick than they do a superbowl ring. If you disagree you're a moron. I hate the jets more than I hate taxes, but we are not better than the jets, on paper. Injuries and such could bring us up to where they are but it would take a lot of them.

I think we have a great shot to make the playoffs as well, but if we do, it won't be because we had an easy schedule. Elite defense, vastly improved offense, and a few good breaks here and there. We are certainly due for a few things to go our way.
