That's too bad :-(

Guarantee that Moore beats him out. Arm strength will be so strikingly different between the two it will have to be that way (and it's not like Moore is a flame-thrower or anything but Flynn has a marginally stronger arm than Pennington).

Oh, and hopefully Moore gets a WR that DOESN'T drop 14 of his passes including 3 TD's so he ends up in the Top 10 in Passer Rating this year and not #12.

Definitely another backup wanting to be a starter. Heck, I'd take a chance on a Brock Oswailer or Ryan Lindly.

most qbs would beat flynn out, that is why no other team has real interest in him aside from us. people will come up with bs excuses like'' philbin knows him better than anyone else'' which maybe true, but that does not make him a good qb at all.

when every single team in the nfl, and their are plenty that can use a qb do not even show real interest like the jaguars, seahawks, browns, ( and yes i know the seahawks and browns met with him according to reports, but why would 2 teams starved for a qb just let him leave without a contract?

unfortunately philbin rather live or die by his own guy, because if your going to lose your job, at least go down swinging with your own guy rather than someone else s. plenty of coaches bring in their own guys, be it other coaches or players when its their first year, that does not mean those coaches think that those players/coaches are top flight at their position.

moore prob would beat him out, but he wont get a chance because flynn will be handed the job.
 
If we sign Flynn IMO the Philbin era will be yet another one year experience a la Cam Cameron. You're putting a wholly inexperienced quarterback behind an incomplete offensive line in a very difficult division with no weapons to rely on at all. The kid would be getting set up for failure, and I don't personally think he's any good anyway.
I think this upcoming season is going to be another miserable one unfortunately.
 
Everybody needs to calm down haha Flynn will be just fine. The real problem in all of this is finding a ****ing reciever.. I'm hoping we either draft Michael Floyd, or we trade back and grab mike Wallace

unfortunately i agree.

i actually was a bit hopeful for this season, with our good defense in place, with exciting players such as marshall and bush growing together in miami, with an early pick where we can add another weapon, but then we give away our best offensive player with no return in his prime, we now have nothing on offense.

no team will respect our passing game whatsoever with bess and hartline as our 1/2 for now( and i know people think we will just add a 1 wr, but blackmon will prob be gone to the rams to give bradford a weapon, the jaguars also pick before us they can deff use a wr, so i dont know where we are getting that dominant number 1 guy)

I agree 100%...I mean casterating the guy before he even gets a chance. I bet they would have done the same to players named Marino,Manning,Rogers,Brady,Ect

Give a brother a chance...If he plays like Henne after 2-3 games then it is open season.
 
i cant believe some of you are low on Matt Flynn. He threw 6 TDs in the last game he played; i think Flynn is highly UNDERrated and the reason he isnt getting lots of looks is because people want Peyton Manning instead,.
 
ESPN's Adam Schefter says that the Seahawks are looking at various options at QB, while Miami is set on Flynn. Calls Flynn a good consolation prize for Miami for losing out on Manning.
 
I hope is plane to Miami corks a engine diverts to west cornfieldville, kansas and it takes days to drive a mechanic to the plane to fix it!
