NOT who I thought they were: Tannehill and Co. proving mettle at 2-0.

Coming into this season, I thought Miami could be the worst team in the NFL. Not so much. The Dolphins are alone atop the AFC East at 2-0 and they deserve great credit. I've been dead wrong thus far.

Ryan Tannehill has been really strong, much more than "just a guy," something I've labeled him in the past. The run game is consistent and the receivers have stepped up. The defense has been stout. Adam Gase's team won a road division game one week after surviving the longest game since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger. That shows you something.

Eigth seems to high, but he likely thinks if the DOlphins beat his Jets that must mean the Dolphins are pretty good. I doubt he would have them in the top 10 if they were 2-0 with wins against the Titans and Raiders.
 
Every once in a while I do miss Schein on Sirius NFL radio. Then I go fire up the blender with a few rocks in it or turn on the garbage disposal and chuck some forks down the sink and am reminded once again of the dulcet tones of that Howard Cosell wannabe jagaloon. Eat the crow Schein, eat the whole nest!
 
Hes annoyingly and usually wrong. I do not miss him.

The other idoits on the airwaves are just godawful.

I remember a couple of shows about 20 years ago coming out of Vegas that were nailing NFL predictions like a mother then they both vanished off the TV.
 
For some reason the two things people kept dinging us for were Tannehill & our defense both of which are above average to good. We all knew that we weren't the worst team in the NFL or anywhere close. The media has hated us ever since Dan retired. The last four healthy seasons Tannehill was healthy we've been a .500 football team which is probably right around where we'll be if he stays healthy.
 
He is terrible. And as another poster said the morning men are terrible too. Mad dog gets on his soap box many times like he's old man rivers but its the only show that I can tolerate for the most part.

And I think Schein is actually a Giants fan.

He didn’t rank us eighth, he had a list of ‘Schein’s Nine’ teams that are/are not what he thought they were and we were just number eight.

He goes out of his way to dog us all the time so I generally avoid his stuff. But it was nice of him, even though he still avoids any real insight in my opinion.
