Vinateri would probably wan't more money than Mare's asking for know. But I wouldn't mind having the clutchest kicker in the league on our team, even if if he did cost a little more.

Vinatieri already has been offered a salary by the Pats that would make him the highest paid kicker in the NFL.....more than 1 million a year than the current highest paid. AND he has rejected it and is looking elsewhere for employment, starting in Green Bay.

It can't hurt to have him in for a visit. Bring him in and make him an offer we feel is fair. If he wants more money than that, then he can seek it elsewhere. Simple.
