I agree. I think we go 10-6 and loose in the 2nd round of playoffs. I know thats a little optomistic, but I think we can do it.

read the team report for the Dolphins. It is not as complimentary as the front page.

This is a little harsh:
The roster, gutted by Saban, is skeleton thin. The quarterback situation is a mess (A.J. Feeley or Gus Frerotte?), the offensive line is patchwork, and the once-talented defense is down to Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas and a bunch of no-names and has-beens.

Awww, cmon man!!

Its the truth though!

I hope our Dolphin team are not as sensitive as some of the fans!

:rolleyes2

Why are Madison, Spragan, Carter, and Holliday has beens? David Bowens is no good?

Gutted roster? Please. We lost Fiedler, Bowens, Greenwood, Knight, Freeman, and Surtain. Fiedler, Bowens, and Greenwood have been adequately replaced. The secondary is a concern. Of the current projected starters on offense, only the QB, RB, & FB weren't on the team last year. Most would agree that the replacements are upgrades.

They mention a patchwork line. They could say that several veterans were brought in to compete with a core group of young linemen.

The only thing I dissagreed with was the the fluke upset over the pats. Beating the pats at home is the norm not the upset

Yeah, I find that to be a bit harsh to say the least.

Its one thing to be an optomist, quite another to be a realist. The fact that not only are we going to miss the playoffs, but that we are also going to have a losing record is a given. I think this article is basically well written. My only beef is I don't think Saban has gutted the roster.

That's my point exactly.
