Adding 2 games to the NFL regular season

What do you guys think about adding 2 more games to the regular season and only playing 3 pre-season games. I know as a fan I would like to see more regular season football. But if I was a player I am not sure that I would want to play more games. What do you guys/gals think about this idea

16 is enough... these guys are gunna kill themselves with any more... i mean 18 games plus playoffs? too much... (not that I wouldnt enjoy watchin them... but for the health of the players)

I'd leave the season and the playoffs the way it is with 16 games, Wild Cards, Divisionals, Conference Championship, and Super Bowl. Although, I wouldn't be opposed to cutting down pre-season games to maybe 3 games instead of 4.

Id like to see them cut the preseason down to like 2 games. Im not sure they need more regular season games but I admit Id watch them and enjoy it. Would make regular season records go out the door in a few years though.

you cant cut down the preseason. Coaches say this all the time. there is so many players you got to see play. if you dont want your first unit to play 4 preseason games, dont play them the first game....its that easy.

it just wouldn't work though, pre-season games help coaches learn about how the players like to play their game aswell as the fact what ivel said about records
