Adding a pic to a post?

In the text box where you enter your reply, you'll see the buttons for bold, italics, underline, etc. There's one button that is square and has what appears to be a mountain. Click that button and you'll get a popup window to add the image. Simply post the URL of the image in the text field of the popup window and click ok. The image should show up.
 
I found that, but the pic is on my computer and doesn't have a URL.

If it's on your computer then that is local to you and no one else will be able to see it. What you need to do in this case is create an account on an image hosting site if you don't already have one. Photo Bucket, Image Shack, and Tiny Pic are some of the more popular image hosting sites and it's all free. Upload your pic there and you'll be able to get a URL.

For instance, a photo posted from my Image Shack account looks like this as a URL..

http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/8240/homet.jpghttp://img24.imageshack.us/i/homet.jpg/

And looks like this when I enter it into the URL field after clicking on the "mountain" button.

Wait, one more question.

I uploaded the pic, now how do I find the URL on photo bucket? Do I want the HTML code one or the direct link one?
 
Always get the direct link code. We don't allow HTML in posts here on the boards. Or you can always right-click on ANY image on the web, select 'properties' and then grab the URL from the properties dialog window that opens up. That's usually how I post pics here on the boards because I know I'm getting the right URL.
