Admit it who else was kinda choked up and had goosebump

I admit it, I'm a big wuss! I had a few tears during Young's speech, then when Dan was on, they really started streaming! Don't ever invite me over to watch "Brian's Song" (the original). I'll cry like a baby!

today was special for dan and also his fans i myself also got choked up and when he threw that pass man it was great the iceing on the cake we will never forget #13 dan marino.
 
Today was a very emotional day for me as for all Dolphins fans. Dan was The Quarterback from my early teens to my early 30s. I feel very priveleged to have been able to witness his whole career, it was like a gift.
 
I was listening at work and i'm glad I could sneak out of site to listen to it, definetely a stream of tears here...
 
It couldn't have been better! I cried for about 10mins the day he retired out of sadness....but today they were tears of Joy! #13 brought 17 years of happiness to me as I grew up being a fins fan.... ya just love Dan not as the player but also the person he is today! God bless

Man just reading this thread has me getting misty! I started to tear up when they played the footage of Dan and they had the emotional music going, man it was great! And then the standing ovation, the speeches, THE pass ... couldn't have scripted it better! What a day! I wonder if he'll be there at tommorrow nights halftime show or something, being the hall of fame game and all.
 
Count me in guys. I had to keep swallowing to fight back the tears.
When his son gave his speech I felt so proud for Dan.

since i've been a dolphin fan since dolphins in swimming pools beyond the endzone, and dan as my #1 player, previous larry csonka was, it moved me, lets move foward and get in the game and start it again

Agreed and amen....I cried like a baby several times today, and if anyone thinks I'm a f*ggot for doing that, they can kiss my sweet behind ! :lol:

Thanks Dan for the memories, your son is the spitting image, your fans gave you a coronation today fit for the Greatest QB of All Time, and who cares about winning a SB when I got the chance to witness all those great moments of yours.

Today was all about class & dignity, and it reflected you & your life Dan.

You are the best, and the ceremony today was the greatest of all time.
