Why So Serious?
i definetly got choked up today such an inspiring heartfilled speach.
Admit it who else was kinda choked up and had goosebump

I went upstairs and watched the speeches in another room by myself...The tears were rolling...His son's speech was extremely heartfelt and well...I was like a little biatch during #13's speech.
Its incredible the role a prominent sports figure has in the life of a fan...I would've never imagined myself become emotional because of it...but it happens. The only other time was the retirement ceremony for him at PPS back in 2000 with Hootie and the Blowfish. It was then that it hit me that the only QB I had ever really known for the Fins would be no more...that one hurt.
It is a good day to be a Fin's fan.

I'll happily admit, I shed a few tears watching the HOF induction today... but I had a silly grin plastered on my face the entire time! What a great day for Dan, and for the fans. I'm so happy that we overran Canton Ohio to support Dan da Man! We were truly blessed as fans to have a man like Dan Marino leading our team. His dedication to the team, the franchise, the community, and the FANS were so apparent in his speech, and I couldn't be happier that he acknowledged everyone like that.
Dan is truly one of a kind, we were lucky to have him... and we're fortunate that he still wants to be involved for a long time to come! :D :D :D

Definetly joked up. It was great to see Dan up there. It was good to re-live the memories again. It was great to see Marino get what he deserves. Super Bowl or not, he is a champion to us.

The Dans' speeches just verified what I've always believed about the greatest Dolphin of all time. Dan's greatest comes not only from his on the field heroics but from the fact that he worships his family, has not allowed fame to get to his head and has served his community through charitable activities like no other professional athlete has ever done in Florida and possibly the whole nation. I'm 41 years old and still see him as a role model for myself and my children. He is a true MAN above all others. God bless him and his family and may they all life a long, healthy, happy life!

I was there- along with a few thousand of my Dolphins bethren- and had tears streaming down my face in between taking pictures and clapping. An unbelievable scene that words cannot describe and worth every single penny. Just a great day to honor my childhood hero for the last time. Thank you Dan for everything. I wouldn't trade any ring for the memories you gave me and my family.
