Adrian McPherson

I think he's a least worth taking a flyer on. The kid has a cannon for an arm and can move around in the pocket. I don't think it can hurt having him as a 3rd stringer.

You guys are dreaming if you think N.O. will cut McPherson... They knew full well when they drafted him that he will be a long term project... You guys have a better chance at getting Rohan Davey than Mcpherson. The saints will not let McPherson go on waivers...

By the way... Sure the saints have some nice receivers, a great back, and a pretty decent qb but they also possess the 32 ranked defense.. It's kidna hard to make the playoffs with such a terrible defense don't ya think? Just ask the chiefs.... (The saints would have made the playoffs last year if Doug Brien made that FG in the final game of the season... But it doesn't matter anymore..)

Before you guys(23ronnie23 specificly) start talking trash about another team... take a look into the mirror...

Haslett doesn't have time for a project.

Yea... and yet he drafted him.. knowing that... sure.

I dont think teams draft projects, they draft players noob:shakeno:

Why not? It's not like he'll play this year anyway. He has plenty of time to sit behind Brooks. How many 5th rounders aren't projects.

Another McPherson thread :shakeno:

Will it ever stop? Can we finally get rid of the notion that another man's garbage can magically become our treasure. Please.

I wouldn't consider a guy like him garbage. I mean this guy is a rookie who has potential. Just because New Orleans releases him (if they do) doesn't mean he is garbage. They may want to go in a different direction. I was really hoping we would have gotten him in the 5th round but New Orleans beat us to him.

He was referring to the fact that Haslett is an idiot, and doesn't have much time left as Head Coach of New Orleans.

I highly doubt that the your post was intelligent, especially by calling out a member.

I have a question, and don't want to start a new thread... if McPherson is supposed to be part Vick-like, why is his 40 worse than Rodgers, Alex Smith, Charlie Frye, and half of the QB prospects in the draft (including Rix)?

Yes he has potential.

So did Ron Powlus, Akili Smith, Jeff George and Ryan Leaf.

Potential gets you a chance. Talent allows you to stay.

NICE!:)

Dub I am not downing your post either so please don't take it as that. Just chiming in. I do think this kid has some potential though.

In that case, how does the 3rd stringer make any difference, one way or the other. It still makes no sense to cut AMac to keep Kingsbury.
