Adrian Peterson has agreed to a new long-term contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings, the team announced Saturday.
It is a seven-year, $96 million deal worth up to $100 million with escalators, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The contract includes $36 million in guarantees and is worth $40 million over the first three years, according to the source.
