Sorry if this should t be posted here. I just came down from South Dakota, staying around the Tampa area for a couple days (girlfriends relatives). Sunday morning I'm driving down from Sarasota for my first home game! Any advice? I still need to get a ticket (yea, just me). This is my first time in Florida, so I don't know anything. Just paid the first toll of my life by Orlando... lol.

Any tips would be great. Cheap tickets? Stub hub? Best way to get there? Should I get the parking pass on stub hub? What's the tailgating like? Thanks for any tips!

Stab a Jets fan in the face and not a jury in the world would convict you.

Leave early in am Sunday 7-8?, look on stubhub for ticket. Take 1-75 down...to 595 to turnpike South.

Thanks fin, will have to check it out if I get up early enough.

Albert, is that 7 AM just to get to my seat by kickoff?

We left Ft Myers at 6:30 a couple weeks ago and got to the stadium a little after 9. I would go as early as possible just to get the full experience.

Make a day of it.
Stop at Publix for a monster sub. Grab some cold beverages, and bring a football to toss around before the game.
Since you have not been to the stadium, get inside early to explore it and walk around.
After the game is over, tune into the post game radio show.

Jets fans in that area during the games are drunk assholes (from my experience) they will try to pick fights if you are by yourself. One game I went to, these 3 dudes late teens early 20's were picking on this kid in a Marino jersey pushing him around back and forth and no one was doing anything. I was with my girlfriend and told them to knock the BS off and to leave the kid alone. They said you want a piece too? 2 cops came out of nowhere and said no, but we do! One of the cops who saw what I did said thanks for stepping in and trying to do something. My GF pulled me away as I wanted to see them get busted....I hope they went to jail. Bottom line enjoy the game, but don't get caught up in their BS!

I was involved is a friendly disagreement many years ago. A Jets fan(group) that was jawing at my group in the west side field drove his truck into the back of my car deliberately.
An exchange of points of view resulted and I took a piece of his Mark Gastineau jersey as a trophy. My wife threw it out when we moved. LOL
At my age now, I would just extend the international finger salute and keep going.
