Yesterday, I didn't watch the game for the first time since my Honeymoon, and the first in more than 10 years overall. Had to go to my nephew's birthday party, so I recorded the game, in hopes of watching it "live" later in the evening.

Well, my brother-in-law just got a new widescreen LCD TV and I couldn't help but watch the Giants-Vikings game that was on. There was just no way to avoid the score as the party took place in the living room and there was no getting away from that TV. After accidentally seeing the Pats up 12-7 early in the fourth, I had to watch the score to see the result :yell: :fire: :yell: :shakeno:

When I got home, I had planned to watch it anyways as I haven't missed a down in forever. But I just couldn't find the energy for it.

So ... for those of you who watched it, is there any reason to watch, or should I just hit delete?

Why do you need advice about watching a football game? All you're gonna hear on this board is doom & gloom anyway. Watch the game and make up your own mind.

Too much "Dr. Laura" BS going on at this site!:yell:

Watching it will make you feel better, and worse in some ways.. It will help you realize that at half time it should have been 17-0 Miami (there is absolutely NO exaggeration in that statement). It will help you see first hand how we abandoned R. Brown after he again rushed for 5 ypc with several 10 yard bursts, and it helps you see how many bone-head plays Chambers had, dropping the ball.

For me (I taped it and watched last night), it helped reconfirm that we have the ability to win, but showed we don't have the mentality to do so against a team who is just mentally tougher, and expects to win.

Watch it, we didn't play badly, it was a few plays that did us in actually.

We were clearly winning the game in the first half, Ronnie ran ok, Ricky did nothing really, they were sqeezing the run, so we had to throw it and Gus played pretty well, probably his best overall game since the Denver game.

Mcmichaels fumble late in the 2nd period was a major swing in the game, we would have gone up either 14-0 or 10-0 but it swung the other way and it was 7-3.

Mare missed a chip shot, Chambers dropped way to many big plays, Howard was an inch away from making a gamesaving interception, but it went their way.

It was a good game, certain players let the team down or it would have been a win.

JT's injury is hurting us a lot in my opinion.

Excellent game to watch, especially the fourth quarter. This is a good game to watch as a football fan, albeit frustrating to watch as a Dolphins fan.

Don't watch the last minute or so....see the Falcons game.

Different, Gus made a bad throw against Atlanta, against New England Chambers dropped a touchdown.

Yes, watch it. But be ready to see some bad things in the second half. I recorded it too, and I will be watching it again off of a DVR to see exactly what went wrong in the 2nd half.

Results only matter....we just find new ways to lose games. But we're improving....one day...one day...one day....we'll get that thing fixed.

Thanks Everyone!

I think I will watch afterall. As I always say, you gotta take the sour to be able to enjoy the sweet!

I always watch all of the games regardless if we win or lose. There is always something worthwhile to see whether its the lineplay or the improvement in certain players.

We left too many points on the table. We should have been up 17-7 in the first half.It would have completely changed the second half but as it was we fought back and for the second week in a row had a chance to win with a couple of mins left in the game.

If you like big plays we had quite a few both on the offensive and defensive side.

Just remember that this is a team which is being rebuilt and that we are only in the initial stages of what will be a playoff team in a couple of years. Then you can look back and remember how this team was put together.

By all means watch the tape.:)

Thanks! Now that we're essentially out of the playoff picture, this is exactly why I'll be watching each game closely the rest of the season. I really like our young players, and our line has really come a long ways!

I'm just hoping we rebound and get to 6-6. The next three are very winnable, and it would give us fans something to believe in for St. Nick going forward!

Yes I would watch the game. There were some very positive things that took place yesterday. If it was not for a fumble by McM, a missed FG by Mare and a several untimely drops by CC the Dolphins would have run away with that game yesterday.

Do you mean the INT that Frerotte threw to end the Falcons game? If so I do not think it was a bad throw. I think it was an excellent play by the Falcons DB. You know the opposing team pays their players as well?

FYI it was a throw to CC, a throw that CC simply sat there and watched happen. Why didn't CC try and even make a play on that play?
