Earlier in the show they had John Clayton on the show and said they were going to bring him back to discuss the AFC East. Of course it has taken about 30 minutes for them to get to it, but it should be comming up soon. Just thought I'd let you all know!

good looking bro!

I would have prob. missed it... but I got it on now... :D

Not a break down, just headlines with us and the Pats. As CK said, it looks like Daunte is going to start on Saturday vs. Jacksonville. Also, JT's back problems are a bit of a concern and he will probably play through pain all year.

That's unfortunate about JT's back. I hope it's nothing too serious.

They spoke mostly about Roger Goodell, who apparently just officially got the job as NFL Commish.

Deion Branch is digging in for a protracted holdout that could last for a good part of the regular season. He wants his contract and he and the pats are very far apart in negotiations. :)

I really don't want to give Pats fans any excuse when we take the division title, but I'm not going to complain about Branch. I think it's funny that their front office is finally getting it stuck to them.

JTs back is kind of worrying me. I wonder how well Jason will respond to it and how he will play through it. Like you said, let's hope it's not too serious.

I hope branch holds out

1. It shows that not all pats r team oriented like people want to think
2. It will give us an advantage
3. Makes the pats receivers even worse

Do you think he should start

I was just quoting the caption in the box at the bottom of the screen while they questioned John Clayton. It said "Culpepper to make first Dolphins start"

I think he should start and only play 2 series. He needs to get about 5-7 passes in a game situation. Ease Pep back into action slowly but progressively each week. 2 series in the opener, 1 quarter in the second game, 1st half in the 3rd game and 3 quarters in the finale. That's my plan of attack.

starters baringly see the field in the last preseason game the 3rd one is the one were they see the most action

good points. allow me to counter real quick.

ok.
#1. pats are commited to themselves. as long as the player takes the paycut, their a team orientated organization. if the players wants a couple more bucks, then THE PLAYER isnt team orientaed, no matter how many years of service.
#2. WE already have an advantage ( were just better).
#3. theyre all 5foot 5, and the fastest one is a rook. ( well bethal is fast, but somehow hes in bellychecks doghouse).

Starters usually play a couple drives in the first game.

1.Most of the players are going to start doing this to the Pats now. They've got their ring(s), they don't need to play by the owner's rule.

2.We need to see our team play in the regular season. I have high hopes, but until we dethrone them, they've got the advantage.

3. They've gotten progressively worse the last two years losing Patten and Givens.

i wouldnt play pep in game 1 of the preseason... i dont know i just wouldn't, but if hes gonna play i hope its just 1 series
