I just wanted to get some thoughts on our division this year, imo we should win it. I am not being a homer i just think the pats have lost way to much and are going through a semi rebuilding stage, as for the bills they have jp as qb so they are pretty much done and the jets have a new coach and are rebuilding, they will get some young stars in the draft but they should not win more than 7 games. I just think saban has put us in postion to win this divison by week 15. this is how our division will end up imo.

1.mini sabans-11-5 (4-2 in the division)
2.pats-9-7(3-3)
3.bills-6-10(2-4)
4.jets-5-11 (2-4)

Why don't you ask Saban his thoughts? Predicting the record in March is about as opposite as there is from what Saban is all about. If one of the players asked him that question what do you think he would say to them.

And what the heck is a mini Saban?

Why don't we just wait til the season rolls along a bit before we start talk about the division? ;)

Or at least the draft....

I thought as the season was coming to a close last year that the Dolphins would stand an excellent chance of winning the division next year. I mean, look at how close they came this year. If Linehan had tried running the ball late in the Atlanta and New England home games, Miami might have been 11-5. As it stands I think they are strong play-off and divisional contenders. But as it was stated before, it's only March, and a lot will happen before then. Stupid long offseason.

What will our record be in 2009??

With Dick Cass as commish, what changes will be made. Besides Preparation-H gaining ALL stadium naming rights??

The last thing we should be thinking about is season results, playoffs, Super Bowls... We need to concentrate on right now and building this team and staying healthy and out of trouble...

I'll start thinking about season results next December...

it's just too early to start predicting the division now.:cooldude:

I thought the message boards were for discussing things like this. Kind of like we were all discussing Culpepper and Brees before we got one of them. We could have all just said, "Why don't we wait until we have one of them before we talk about them."
If we wait until after the fact to talk about stuff, then 75% of the discussion and fun on the board would be wiped out. This wasn't one of those brainless or "way out there" posts. Nothing wrong with a little speculation and hype.

correction, miami would be 10-6 this past season because new england would have beat the fins in the last game of the season...don't forget new england sat their starters that last game

A little early to make this prediction. There has been NO draft yet, still more FA's, and no June 1 cuts yet. There is still a LOT to change on all teams' rosters before opening day. NOT to mention, you won't know how good a team is until they start playing.

you know we would have lost to them..?

its not to early to think about how good we will be,we probably only have 1-3 more signings most of our starters are set.

EHHHHHHHHHHH, you're wrong. It could've gone either way, but it's good you have so much faith in the team
