I got a couple questions in, this is the whole chat about the AFC East:

Todd (MIAMI): Is Joey Harrington the long-term answer for the Fins ? Or will Culpepper or (gulp) Cleo Lemon start before the end of the year ?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:33 PM ET ) Joey May be the best player at vthe position for 2006. He can play in this league. Daunte can play when healthy and I believe he will be on the field for the Phins in 2006 - ? Lemon playing this season unless injuries happen.

Alex (Gowanda, NY): How much of JP Losman's recent woes be attributed to the sub-par offensive line play of the Bills?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:35 PM ET ) J.P. ( as most QB's do) needs good support from his running game , defense , field position , ETC. - The O-L has taken a steo backward the past couple of weeks but there is lots of games ahead.

Shawn ((PA)): With the Jets at 3-3 right now, is there any chance of them contending for a Wild Card spot?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:37 PM ET ) There is a chance but I wouldn't bet on it. They have won UGLY and don't appear to have enough defense or a running game to get there. LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS !!

Matt (Miami,FL): Do you think Ronnie Brown is a 1,500+ yards back? Would be more succesful behind a different o-line?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:39 PM ET ) I don't know if he is a 1500 yard back but I'm sure he is better than what he has produced thus far. I believe that most of the PHins problems have stemmed from a ,arginal O-L - YES, Better line , Better Back !!

Mike (FL): The Jets play a lot of rookies and most/all of them have been producing. Is the Jets success more a product of Mangini's coaching or Tennenbaum's drafting?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:41 PM ET ) It's a little of both but I tend to lean towards the coach at this point. He is findin a way to win with some personnel that doesn't fit his system (Esp. defense)

Fin Fan Alta Loma, Ca: As we saw last week Wes Welker has some skillz... Isnt it time to get this guy off of special teams and permanently give him Booker' spot.

Troy (Pittsburgh, PA): The Patriots are the obvious choice for the Division Title, right? How far do you see them going into the playoffs?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:42 PM ET ) Welker needs to stay on special teams as he give the Phins their best chance of a big play as a returner.

Troy (Pittsburgh, PA): The Patriots are the obvious choice for the Division Title, right? How far do you see them going into the playoffs?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:43 PM ET ) The Pats will win the weak AFC east and possible one game in the play offs - I don't see them going very far in 2006-

Gregg (Boston): In your opinion, what is wrong with Tom Brady? Forget the stupid body language debate, he used to be one of the most accurate qbs in the league and now he is regularly missing wide open guys. My opinion is that it's mostly due to the loss of Charlie Weis.

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:45 PM ET ) There is nothing WRONG with Brady , he just doesn't have the same talent (and comfort zone) around him that he has had in the past. (less great players on the Pats team!!!! )

Bad Brad (Miami): Whats up with Chris Chambers? Why arent' the Phins getting him the damn ball?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:46 PM ET ) He is clearly their best WR and he can make an impact on games. We don't see everything on T-V- He is doubled some or there is not enough time to get him the ball- He had a nice game last week and will continue to get the ball if the defense plays straight up.

Mike (FL): Which team in the AFC East has the brightest future?

sn2-1.gif
Ken Moll: (12:48 PM ET ) That really tough to say due to the fact of off season trades and young talent coming from the draft. It appears that Buffalo has the best chance with so many young player getting experience in 2006 but teams can look somewhat different in a year from now

Trevor (TX): The Patriots are 4-1 w/ little talent, shouldn't Brady be considered the MVP so far?? He has done more with less.

Ken Moll: (12:51 PM ET ) It's funny one guy wants to crown Brady MVP and another wants to know what's wrong with him !! Brady has had a sub par year thus far even without the same talent around him but his composure and timely throws have helped the Pats get to 4-1 --

Justin (Minneapolis): DO you think R McMichael will continue to get more looks like the last couple of week? Harrington seems to like him.

Ken Moll: (12:52 PM ET ) Your right , I think Harrington has a good feel for Randy and he tends to look for his big target when he needs a play. He will get lots of looks if teams don't pay more attention to him.

Justin (St Paul, MN): What is the deal with Ben Watson. Alot of preaseason hype but no TDs or much production overall!

Ken Moll: (12:54 PM ET ) I disagree- Watson is the leading Pats receiver with 16 grabs and has the longest recption of the year (35 yds.)-- He has not been in the end zone but he has moved the chains well for Brady.

kyle green bay: would you consider the jets as a contecder for the AFC east division title?

Ken Moll: (12:55 PM ET ) I don't see the Jets being in the class with the Pats. The best that Jets fans can hope for is a wild card spot and that's going to be tough-

Matt (Miami,FL): Jason Allen is yet to get any significant play time in games this season. Are you ready to call him a bust?

Ken Moll: (12:56 PM ET ) There must be a reason that we (public) doesn't know for why he is not on the field- He's not a bust yet !!!!!!!!

Hoss (Austin): If you look objectively at the Pats roster you will see that they have much more talent than when they won the title in 2001. Much more.

Ken Moll: (12:58 PM ET ) I can't comment on 2001 roster but I know they don't have the same type players that they have had the past three seasons.(you can't loose the kind of players they did and just plug in other guys)

steve (miami): why cant nick saban check his ego and give up his role as player personnel director, worked for holmgren when he stepped down?

Ken Moll: (1:00 PM ET ) From what I can gather , Sabin work well with GM Randy Mueller and does a bunch of good listening to people around him .

I didn't this would be considered copyrighted material, but if it is I apologize

LOL an internet chat is not copyright material

Good post! I love how the guy backs Saban up in the end, that he did a good job of listening. People here are by far too impatient and need to realize that the rebuilding of a team takes time, especially completely switching the offensive and defensive systems. Also, it takes a while for a winning philosophy to take hold...

It scares me too "At some positions the phins need to get younger
come on the Bills drafteted satey Dante Whitner and he is strating we drafted Jason Aleen whos riding the pine we need a young versetile saftey who can be a ball hawk.play the guy to see if he can play.
