Before we panick about a CB, name a cornerback besides Darell Revis in the AFC east? Nobody is stacked in that position. We'll pick one up in the draft my guess is Butler in the 2nd(a) round. We're drafting a pass-rusher with the first unless Nick's drops. You just need descent corners to be a championship team, not shutdown corners.(ie Raider's last year) But you need a good qb(by Jets and Bills) a good defence line, and o-line. It's won in the trenches boys! T.O, Moss whoever, if Brady doesn't have the time, Moss won't be catching alot of Balls. Cassel had all day that 2nd game last year, and Jason Allen out on an island. We need another premier pass rusher. We need to be able to rotate guys or if Porter gets hurt we lose the pass rush. No need to panick, and it is only March. The patriots had Delta O'neil last year, and now have shawn Springs, they're not to worry about there secondary. You only need to be solid in the secondary.

Um it doesnt matter what other teams in our division have, it matters what we have. last time i checked you need 2 starting CB's, we have one.

Jets have 1.5 (sheppard..eh?)
Bills have 1.5 (mckelvins 2nd season...very good 1st season)
Pats have 1 (hobbs)
Fins have 1

Jets: Sheppard/Revis
Bills: McGee/McKelvin
Patriots: Hobbs/Springs
Dolphins: Allen/??????

I honestly believe the Bills are their way to having great cornerbacks.
McGee is very good ( we played him while he was hurt last year) and McKelvin has the potential to be a lockdown. His recovery speed is amazing. He just comes out of no where and swats balls away. Over the past couple of years the Bills have been great with developing corners. Plus they have Youboty in the nickel.

The fact of the matter is we have one starting CB right now.

true we only have one starting corner NOW....but the draft is coming. i expect to see the fins take atleast two potential corners in the draft. one relatively early and one in the later rounds.

The Allens will be out there taking butt and kicking names.

The Bills will hurt a bit without Jabari Greer
They also have Florence, Corner, and Youboty though

youboty could be a starter for the fins IMO

Yeah I don't know why I forgot about Florence. Not entirely sure why he signed there, the best he will be is a nickel, barring injury.

When was the last time an AFC east team was champion?

Now tell me who was in their defensive backfield.

You might not need 4 probowlers in the secondary, but you certainly need some talent back there.

WE certainly need upgrades back there, we had what? the 25th worst pass D in the NFL last year?

Adding Wilson will help for sure, but we lost Goodman and dont have a rep yet.

We WILL get one, but dont say that people are unjustified in their concern with the position.

I would argue that Ike Taylor, William Gay, Deshea Townsend, and Bryant McFadden are a more than decent tandem. You say teams only need decent corners to be a contender, then why is everyone desiring the Steelers' 2nd stringer?

It doesn't matter who the other AFC East DB's are, it matters who the other AFC East WR's are. Them you might have heard of. Moss, Welker, Owens. Ring a bell?

Problem with this argument is....We dont have the receivers to expose their secondaries while they do. Except maybe the Jets but than again they have a very good starting CB duo. Owens and Evans, and Moss and Welker. We had better have two starting cbs or we are in trouble.
