After watching our Dolphins getting mauled by the patsies on Thursday and then what happened to the jets in Oakland last night, I started thinking this division is cursed. We're so cursed it seems that it doesn't matter what move you make it will always backfires. You could hire the best available coach, gm and pick the best player in the draft it won't matter because we are cursed. I was equally shaking my head in disbelieve during our game when they showed how many coaches have been hired and fired by the rest of the division during Belichik\Brady era.

It is unbelievable !! We were all o excited for the season of greatness but see what happened. Has anybody ever seen a Dolphins tem so loaded with talent since he shula's team ? It was all for nothing because we are cursed, folks, I tell you. And the curse remains Tom Brady.

No division has been held hostage by one team in the NFL as long as the NE Patriots have held the AFC EAST hostage. It is hopeless anything you do, you just can't get over those guys. you think Bill has voodoo dolls for each team in the division ?

certainly feels that way. we lose Cameron Wake, Jets lose Fitzpatrick/Smith, and the Bills appear to be on the verge of self destructing.

Lol, Jets, Miami and Buffalo never had a coach. That's the problem. Also no team had a 5 year starting QB since the Tom Brady days. Jim Kelly, Dan Marino and Ken O'Brian. Last QB,s to play 5 straight years. Tannehill be the 1st.. but he sucks... That's the problem. Curse in finding a QB.

We aren’t cursed, we ran into a hot team playing really well and we played like crap.

So you don't think this is the beginning of the Jets annual crash and burn ? Cause it sure looks like it, lol!

Groundhog day in our division for another year.

All the talk before the season were how the Jets, Bills and Miami have improved and how they are going to dethroned the Patsies.

when is the last time we crashed and burned after a good start? 2008? we were 1-6/1-7 a year ago. 2 years ago we won one week and lost the next through November.

No sane person thought NE was getting dethroned and the Jets are greatly improved.

Actually, it's not a curse. It is what happens when you build your team with only one goal in mind...beating the Patriots. Every team in this division has lost sight of trying to build a balanced, well-constructed TEAM and simply focused on what they perceive will allow them to defeat Brady & the Patriots.

The Dolphins and Bills have poured an insane amount of resources into their defensive lines, assuming that the ability to pressure Brady with four linemen who can get to the QB will allow them defeat the Patriots. The Jets have done the same with Wilkerson, Richardson, and Williams. The Jets went even further this offseason adding high-priced free agents to their secondary.

So many moves are made by the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins with the sole goal of attacking the way the Patriots play and win. Meanwhile, Belichick focuses on acquiring players that allow him to play the way he wants to play. The Patriots can run when they need to, defeat pressure when they need to, etc. They rarely make moves to address what their opponents are doing. Have they spent massive resources on building the best offensive line in the league to slow down Wake, Suh, Mario Williams, Marcel Dareus, Kyle Williams, Wilkerson, Richhardson, Leonard Williams six times per year?? Not even close. They go out and find street free agents and late-round picks, school them on what they feel is important in blocking for their style of offense, and beat the snot out of everyone.

Meanwhile, the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets keep trying to find a recipe to defeat a team they play twice a year, rather than focusing on building a team to win over the course of a 16-game schedule.

I have a lot of respect for Bowles and the Jets defensive players. I thought they would be decent to good, and they still might be before all is said and done.
The Bills went for the splashy hire and none of the Ryan coaches, including the father were any good. The Ryans are mediocre HC's at best with big mouths. The Bills are not going anywhere.
The Fins, we are riddled with holes now, and with a scatter brained owner, and interim HC. Some good parts, but the coaching staff is really suspect.
The Pats are a model of consistency and lead by a HOF QB. They will fall eventually but it wont be until Brady is injured or retires. I don't think BB is better than average without Brady.

It is going to take a few more years for the guard to change.

Well said, very thoughtful and thorough. So you don't think it is the curse ? lol!

There's no curse. NE just happens to be one of the best franchises in league history and we get the privilege of being in the same division as those mother****ers.

what else is new? we've been saying that for years now.
I'll tell you what.... every year is disappointing. Kind of got use to it.
But this year really hurt. We had a lot of promise going in.

There's no such thing as a curse in football, or any time really. Either you're good or you're not. And Miami is not good.
