There is speculation that Ray Lewis could possibly head to the Jets, that would be BAD for us! http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...s/morning_jolt/2008/02/06/jolt0206/index.htmlI know some people would like Suggs, or Scott and this would immediately take one of them out of the picture (probably franchise Suggs). That would probably make the other's value jump quite a bit and be harder to sign. Also, it looks like Matt Cassel has been franchised, and will probably be traded!

I think he stays in Baltimore in the end. If he does leave I'd bet on Dallas! Cassell will def. get the patriots another 1st rounder this yr. Millens asst. is running Detroit, they might just get 2!

I think Cassels staying in NE who would pay two first round picks for a player who had a great season with the pats WR. a one year wonder at this point and brady may or may not be back for the begining of next season.

Unless the Drama Queen retires, I don't think their cap has room to accommodate what they'd have to pay Ray.

Cassell will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Theyo don't necessarily have to give up 2 number 1's.

Since Pioli is now in KC and The L.J. to New England rumors have been circulating for weeks, I can envision a scenario where Cassel heads to KC and L.J. is sent packing to Beantown...maybe not straight up, but I can see a trade involving the two. It sucks, but L.J. is making noise about leaving K.C. -God I hate Belichick lol

Didn't the Jets already spend their money last year?

Anyway, Lewis and Favre the New York Senior Citizens.....gotta love it....

Any qb could have done what cassel did in ne cuz of that o line if any team gives up to picks for him they are dumb. and if ray lewis heads to the jets that would really suck to face ray lewis twice in one year DAMN

shouldn't all this be in the Beasts of the AFC East forum? just asking...

As a Jets fan I would rather have Scott over Lewis. Ray Lewis is getting old and isnt what he once was. Plus he's not going to have Scott, Suggs, Ngata, and Reed with him in New York. It's going to be on him more and at age 33 can he really handle all of that?

I mean he does have some good players with the Jets on Defense (Rhodes, Revis, Harris, Jenkins, Pace) but there going to be learning Rex Ryans system and are not as familiar with it as the guys in Baltimore would be.

Scott is younger and the star power of Ray Lewis and huge expectations with him wouldnt be there. He would in my opinion be able to blend in better.

However one of the good things about adding a guy like Ray Lewis would be the leadership and fire he brings. I didnt really see that on the Jets defense this year. Plus he would also be able to help the other players learn what Ryan wants to do on Defense and make that transistion easier.

In the end though I doubt Lewis leaves Baltimore.
