Ok so after watching Buffalo self destruct on national t.V. I have an early picture of the AFC east. The Pat's are human again. They have no defense. Oh yeah they will score a lot if you let Brady have the time but they can be had this year. The Bills.... we'll the bills are the bills. The Jets have me worried. Dirty Sanchez has really got off to a good start and their Defense is looking good too. Finally Miami? We'll we have to see another game to decide how its gonna go but right now we are probably 3rd behind The jets and pats. Thoughts?

I was pulling for the Bills, I think someone sold their soul to the devil, Pats seem to get a lot of breaks.

Bills looked good, Trent Edwards looked good as well, if they don't hurt themselves they will be tough. I think the entire AFC East will be tough.

I think this another case of an overreation. Just our message boards have exploded into doom and gloom based on our one loss, these other observations are done on one game.

While one regular season game is a much better gauge then preseason, it does not tell the whole story.

I completely agree the Jets looked great, but they will come down from their high, just as the Dolphins will increase from thier low. Things really vary in the NFL, but end up usually balancing out. Give it a couple more weeks and then we can see the cream rise to the top.

The Pats, however, are as scary as ever. They played an absolutely terrible game, yet found a way to end up winning. Truly good teams find a way to win.
The Bills played great, and kept themselves in the game against a struggling Pats team. The game would not even have been close if the Pats played well while the Bills played badly.

I still believe the Dolphins and Jets are very close talent wise, and will be in a fight for second place in the division.

the pats D - like i've been saying forever now - will be very soft this year. but if brady can pull it together and get his release right - like he did in the end of the game - they're gonna put up some serious points. that's what scares me.

i'm not convinced the bills are for real. that o-line will give them problems this year. not to mention whatever the fallout is once TO pulls his annual freak out.

the jets looked great. if sanchez continues to perform - they'll be trouble.

Fins & Pats will improve as the year goes on, but the Fins will live & die with Chads arm until they decide to pull him. Brady was looking more like himself as the game went on, paricularly when they went no huddle and he got into a rythym.

I liked the Pats secondary last night. Bodden & Wilhite played mostly man to man on Evans & Owens to good effect. Merriweather had a good game. The dline was scary though, getting no pressure on Edwards, but, evan then, he couldn't seem to find his wr's will all the time he had, instead going with a lot of screens & dumps over the middle, moreso once Mayo got hurt. The Oline was awful and needs to get their act together asap.

Jets will get burned blitzing like that as the season goes on. Sanchez did look good, especially on 3rd down. If I were Vegas, I'd have the jets as favorites next week, not the Pats. If Brady can get his timing back and his accuracy, he will be able to beat the blitz. If not, it'll be a long day.

I have to say that right now, the Jests are the team to beat. As much as I hate to say it, I think it is true. Their defense is sick and they have a running game to help Sanchez.

All 3 looked strong in week one. We need to step up our game to run with them.

Right before the pats when ahead last night i was on the phone with my brother and he said the bills got this all they have to do is run out the clock. I told him it aint gonna happen. He said your nuts. I told him that the pats have sold their soul to the devil and buffalo will fumble and the pats will win. LoL That's exactly what happened.

Giselle is the devil and as long as Tom keeps her happy he will continue to win!

I agree that the AFC East is going to be very tough this year. All 4 have their weakness, and their strength....even though the Jets did show very little weakness in week 1, but against the Pats (Unlike the Texans), it will be a tougher game for the Jets.

In all fairness, we have no idea how prepared the Texans really were for that game. Sanchez looked good (not to mention a hell of a lot better than I thought he would), but I'm going to hold off judgment until I see him really get punched in the jaw by a consistent pass rush.

Luckily for the Jets, they have one of the best O-Line's in the NFL. Now if only our Line played as good as they're getting paid to :(
