2020 cant get here soon enough
If its just based on last years play shouldn't Tebow be ranked number 2?
he did it w/ zero pressure to win too, when he had a chance to help keep the dolphins hopes alive he failed miserably, once Miami was out of it he played well.
I don't make excuses, you don't get to back to abck title games w/ back half of the league QB play. It just doesn't happen, I've seen enough bad QBs through the years to know the difference.

Well you're more receptive than me: IMO Sanchez is too sensitive, raw and lacks the cajones to be a good backup for us. Guaranteed Moore would kick his azz in a fair TC competition (as would likely even Henne). IMO, the litmus test for Sanchez is how many teams would welcome him as their starter. Frankly, given existing QBs and recent draftees, I can't think of any with the possible exception of Jacksonville... and maybe not even them.
But be that as it may; you're certainly entitled to your opinions and may even get some "amens" on TGG (although I'm noticing not all that many these days) but we're just as entitled, and probably more spot on to think your QB opinions aren't worth too much considering you wouldn't trade Sanchez for a 1st, for Rivers, for Ryan, for Schaub or most better QBs, you think Sanchez is a top 7 league QB and you don't think Eli is elite.
Those are your words not ours. So given your questionable subjective opinions of the foregoing, it's hard to take your opinions of Sanchez, Moore - or any QB for that matter as more than delusional or homeristic.
LMAO I keep seeing you use this argument like you actually believe it. The dolphins started the season 0-7. They were 0-5 when Matt got to start, playoffs was the furtherest from their minds. Winning one freaking game was what they were worrying about not the freaking playoffs. We woould have had to win out including wins vs and AT New England, to be talking about playoffs, and no one in their right mind was thinking we were going to do that. We were a lot closer to getting the number 1 overall pick than we were the playoffs. I think you may be confusing him with Sanchez. Sanchez is the one who threw 3 picks, 2 in the 2nd half in the last game of the season to knock his jets out of the playoffs. Moore on the other hand threw one TD and no picks in the 2nd half to lead his team to the win.
You say this as if we were ever "in it".
Of course it does. Everyone knows it. Your denials will not change that. Sanchez will not finish the year as the Jets starter.
poor guy had no 1st team reps, how is a player ever to succeed w/o them? How come Chad henne won games right away when he had no 1st team reps in 2009? You truly are the king of excuses.

There are different types of pressure, every game has pressure but pressure to win, the expecttions by the team, fans, media to win is a very different pressure. He FAILED in Carolina w/ that pressure, he failed in Maimi, he succeeded in both places when his teams seasons were over and they had no pressure to win.
yeah, matt Moore had tremendous pressure to win which is why when he hd a chance to save their season he flopped but when the season was over he performed EXACTLY like he did in Carolina.
A fact is Eli is NOT elite and the Jets are elite 2009-2011
I guess the company line is about 2nd team reps?did Tom Brady get 1st team reps in 2001?
Sanchez had a million things work against him last year and still had us at 8-8 in bad season.
I'd love Matt Moore as a backup he's a not a starter in this league if you want to win, it's been proven you can win bug w/ Mark sanchez.
OMG! You sir are totally and completely off your rocker. A two time superbowl MVP QB =/= eilte?? But the 2009-2011 Jets, who didnt even make the playoffs in 2011 and SQEAKED into the playoffs by teams that sat their starters are elite.. BAaaahahahhhhahahahahahahahahahhhhhhhaaaaaa.. Thanks for the comic relief this morning, I needed to read this! Next you'll say Sanchez is on the verge of becoming elite and is the best QB out of any of the NY teams... You Jets fans never cease to amaze.
You can try to spin it anyway you like, but thats really just a stupid arguement plain and simple. Every week there is pressure to win regardless of if your eliminated or not.
Also, what games did Henne win right away with no first team reps?

You are SO wrong. You only get to the SUPER BOWL with an average QB and a top ten defense. You get to back to back title games with an above average QB and top ten defense.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
team vs. individual are 2 different things, the Giants as a team are elite, Eli as an individual is not. Doesn't have elite #s
That's exactly the point we are making about Sanchez. The Jets' success doesn't mean that Sanchez is good or that he made a significant contribution.
Just what we needed. Afterall, it's been awhile since the last Sanchez vs. *insert Dolphins QB here* thread.![]()
