I see the Bills and Jets losing their next 2. I see New England losing to Cincy. I see us beating the Texans next week and then playing New England for the division. All is not lost. We need to get our Oline working versus the Texans and carry it over against New England.

Remember what happened a few weeks ago and prior when we all sat and did this?

Yeah, shows how accurate it is to look ahead at ours and others schedules. just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I think the schedule does favor us, we still have lots to work on but our confidence should be healthy after we get back in the mix within the division.

with those schedules it should be possible, not a lock but def. possible

I think we will be heading in the right direction with the game next week. The players looked like they really needed this win, even if it was an ugly one.

Well Im not predicting anyone to win or lose but everyone could be tied at 2-2 after next week

We are still playing very bad on offense. I don't think there is an advantage on our schedule. Now, if we somehow win our next three games then I will start hoping for a turnaround.

The Phins are a horrible, horrible team right now. Could they improve later in the season? Sure, but it looks doubtful.

The 3 teams they've played so far are a combined 0-7 against all teams who aren't Miami. Add in Houston this week and that mark becomes 0-10. To have a single 3 point victory against that poor quality of opponents speaks volumes about the poor state of the team.

The glass is half empty, not half full at this point

You know, I really hope you turn out to be right. However, based on existing evidence, I think we may be the worst team in the AFC East at the moment and I don't think the Pats are quivering. The Patriots are on top, The Bills beat us, and I would reckon that the Jets are better than the Bills by virtue of the fact that Chad Pennington is playing as well as he has ever played and he's shown that he can be pretty damn good. He is certainly playing better than Pep thus far as is just about every QB in the league. I mean, if you look at that schedule that you published, the Jets are coming off of two tough opponents before they face us. In fact, they will be coming off of games vs two of the top 5 teams in the league. You don't think they'll be licking their chops for the game vs us?

Having said that, I hope we do improve each week. I hope our O-line gets it together and finally blocks someone. I hope our secondary gets used to the system and stops busting coverages, and I hope Pep regains some of the form that had all of us so excited when he was acquired at some point this year. Unless and until some of those things happen, you have to rate this team based on how it's performed, and that is we barely beat one of the worst teams in the NFL. As a matter of fact, I'd say the Titans beat themselves more than anything we did. The block in the back on the punt return for a TD? Two missed throws on wide open receivers that would've taken it to the house because of obviously two busted coverages. A fumble on like the two yard line. Sure, this is what bad teams do but despite all of that we BARELY beat that team. In any case, I truly hope things turn out the way you are painting them...

The next three games will make or break our season. I cannot fathom a loss to Houston, and should that happen, we can just mail in the rest of this one. However, assuming a win over Houston, we should be tied for the division lead going to New England, as there is no chance that either the Pats or Jets win this week.

The Pats only beat Buffalo on a Losman brainfart, nearly blew a 24-point lead to the Jets, and got manhandled by Denver. The Jets needed a late TD to beat Tennessee, lost to the Pats, and let Losman throw for 300 and McGahee run for 150 in the same game. Even as bad as the Dolphins have played so far, both of those teams are beatable.

If we are 4-2 coming home against Green Bay, we can put a hammerlock on the division. At 3-3, we're still in the hunt. But we must go at least 2-1 on this road trip.

I'm done with predictions but....

If we take care of our business with Houston & the better team wins in the Cincy/NE game [which is obviously Cincy], then the following week may be for the lead in the division. I highly doubt NYJ gets by Indy & Jacksonville with wins.

Here's our chance to get our **** together.........

Well I think Cincinatti is better than Denver, and Denver beat N.E. It is Any given Sunday, but I do think the that the Bengals will beat the pats sunday, and the Colts beat the Jets. I'm not sure about the vikings and Bills, the Bills might win that one.

Why look ahead?

I doubt we will lose too many more games if we are able to put up 500 yards of offense and the defense only giving up 250 yards. Turnovers can swing any game, even the Houston game.

Looking ahead is bad.
