We've got some very tough division match-ups this Sunday. I was curious as to which team{s} will come out of it winners???....

Jets vs Jags - I think with Martin questionable, the Jags defense will be all over the Jets this Sunday. The Jags don't have much offensively, but they should be able to give the Jets all they can handle. Jags win / Jets 1-2...

Bills vs Falcons - No brainer here. Falcons defense will crush Losman and the Bills offense. Falcons win in a cake walk. Bills 1-2....

Steelers vs Patriots - This is going to be a great game. I expect a close battle between the two, going back and forth exchanging leads several times. I'm going to go with Pittsburgh at home. Steelers win / Pats 1-2....

Now, here comes the big one....

Phinz vs Panthers - Not many fans are giving Miami a shot in hell at beating the Panthers, and I can't understand why. Sure, they just beat up the Pats at home, but they also lost their opener to New Orleans. They were also looking for some pay back against the Pats, and that really seemed to make the difference....

Looking at these teams stats, Miami has a great chance of winning. Defensively, the Panthers are no better than Miami. Offensively, Miami has more weapons. If the Phinz can shut down RB S. Davis{questionable}, that will leave the Panthers one dementional. Sure, they have WR S. Smith, but there's really not much else there besides him. Our defense will have it's hands full, but if we get steady pressure on Delhomme, and limit the Panthers running game, we'll have a chance to win this game. Phinz win / Phinz 2-1....

AFC EAST STANDINGS
----------------------
Miami Dolphins - 2-1
NY Jets - 1-2
NE Patriots - 1-2
Buffalo Bills - 1-2

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I think this is a very good possibility....I cetainly hope the Panthers are writing us off

that would be a nice senerio, not that I don't think we can when but I do believe we will have our hands full. Monday morning I would love to be talking about being 2-1 and the rest of the division 1-2

Anytime now we'll hear the stampede of Bills/Jets/Panthers fans coming at this thread and pointing out how Miami will be 1-2 while everyone else is 2-1.

Here they come :horsey:

Hell, I almost did it myself...

yeah, I think you made some good calls their. Not sure Buffalo loses, but the other to I think so.

If we play our cards right and game plan well, we could definately have match-up advantages on both sides of the ball that could help us win

like they say "any given sunday":)

I think the Bills may pull it off against Atlanta. Remember, Buffalo has a great defense as well. Milloy may be out but Vick rarely beats people with his arm. Plus, I believe they are playing in Buffalo.

I also see New England beating the Steelers. They played poorly last week. I doubt Belichick lets that happen two games in a row.

I do see the Jets losign though.

If we can pull it out, we should be back in a tie with Buffalo and New England heading into our bye week. I would be happy with that.

I actually think Buffalo will beat the falcons this week.

Vick is questionable..
"His status may not be determined until pregame warmups Sunday."

I think the Bills pull this one out. Pats lose, Jets lose, Phins win ... tied with the Bills for first heading into the bye. I'll take that!!!

I think the Bills vs Falcons game is the easiest to predict. Let's face it, the Bills offense is among the worst in the NFL right now. The Falcons DL is going to destroy the Bills OL. They made the Eagles look bad, and that's a great OL in Philly. The Falcons DL is going to makie the Bills OL look like they're playing in slow motion....

Add that to the fact that JP Losman looks like garbage, and the Bills will be lucky to score this Sunday IMO....

As for the Bills defense, it couldn't shut down RB C. Williams, and facing Dunn / Duckett is no easy task. The Bills run defense isn't that solid after looking at average yards per game against the run....

PHINZ RULE!!!

I think Buffalo will beat Atlanta, if Vick isn't 100%, it could be a long day for the Falcons, because they won't be able to pass on there secondary. Jets vs Jags is a toss up. Pittsburgh vs New England is a tough game, I don't think Belicheck will lose two games in a row. Steve Smith is the key to the Phins vs Panthers game, IMO, I think he's gonna give the secondary trouble and open things up for Keary Colbert. Delhomme has not been too impressive this year. If Miami can't run the ball this week, I don't think they'll win, Carolina has a pretty good CB trio in Gamble/Manning/Lucas, so getting Ronnie Brown going will be key.

I have to dissagree with you here. :( The Panthers are thinking the same thing...Stack the line with 8 in the box and shut down Miami's running game and force Miami's QB to win the game. Once the Panthers shut down the running game they will be blizting like mad and our QB will be throwing INT's with the lack of our Oline blocking. This game is big time in favor of the Panthers. I do agree with the rest of your picks though.

Jags win over Jets. the jags look like a serious playoff team, that has a serious defense. pennington wont know what to do.

Pats win but only by 2 points (it pains me to say it).

Carolina wins over fins. they are a better team. and the ONLY thing the fins do better than carolina is passing yards. and i dont think Gus will continue to play like he has. atleast not agenst the Carolina D.

as for the bills game... it depends. if M. Vick plays... i would not bet on the bills winning  . BUT if M. Vick does NOT play, the bills have a real shot to win :D . the falcans do not have as good a D as Tampa. and their backup QB is not that good. and with fletcher back in the lineup, we SHOULD be able to stop the run.

not to get off topic, but i like to think that C. Williams got so many yards because L. Fletcher (the backbone of our run D) came out of the game early in the 2nd with an injury. the backup played the rest of the game. also, we didnt get a 1st down untill under 2 min. left in the 1st half. so they just kept handing it off.

Losman looked LOST, agenst Tampa, but IMO, they have the best D in the NFL right now. the falcans D are not THAT good. ill give their D-Line some credit, but i HOPE that we can get some kind of offensive gameplan going.
