are we gonna be the only team without a so called "Elite" WR... we got rumors on Jets trying to obtain Edwards from Cleveland.

all i gotta say is our secondary better be ready to lock some people down. Allen, and our rookies better be ready... and safeties rolling over to help at times better be ready!!! its gonna be a fun year, with some frustrating moments i can bet.

Yea i know what you mean man..but i can see it now..TO runs across the middle and gets blown up by Gibril and Bell with Vontae scooping up the fumble for a touchdown..or Randy getting Mossed by Smith,,Man i cant wait

I haven't heard about Edwards going to jets....what do they have to give Cleveland?

it's more or less teams that are interested and rumors of possaabilities like Thomas jones, drat picks or what not.

i was just bringing up the fact that AFC East is loading up with some "Elite" WR's hat we are gonna have to face twice a season.

IMO, the jets dont have enough to give cleveland, so we wont be the only ones w/o an elite WR.

TO isn't as elite as he was although the bills will be testing our secondary more than last year. Pats stayed the same but get Brady back, so thats our biggest issue. It isn't like we didn't address our concern though. Hopefully the rookies will show up early.

I think with the Peters trade, the Bills negated TO...they are going to have probably the least athletic O-line in the NFL...Im not sure To will have enough time to get that far down field before Edwards is laying on his back.

i think they got a solid middle now, but young... i was more shocked they didnt get another player to fill in for Peters... but iagree with this. though Evans, and TO can get open quick. still gonna be tough.

we just gotta put a lot more pressure on the QB;s than we did last year.... A LOT MORE!!! that would help immensely

The rumor is Thomas Jones, helps fill a need for both teams.

We certainly have enough, it would be a package of the AFCs leading rusher and a draft pick and if it doesn't happen Cotchery is still better than any WR you have.

We can only hope the Jets get Braylon. He drops more passes than Hagan...
If that's even possible.

I'd prefer Boldin but Edwards would still vastly upgrade our WR corps and give us an excellent starting duo.

yeah i am pumped as well to see how this secondary of ours pans out.... gotta play as a team!!!

its just interesting how we have smaller name guys compared to these other squads in our division who have "elite" names and more top tier WR's. especially with what the Jets might snag up too in the future, like Edwards, Burress, Boldin (who seems to be looking more and more to stay with the Cards).

lets see if our youth can develop together to become more top tier WR's as a unit... i like where we are in that aspect, they jsut gotta do it and proove it. Lots of possabilities and names right now in the coaches eyes at WR. who's gonna step up???

I dont consider Edwards an "elite" reciever. I even feel he is could be considered another chambers... Its tough to say that even TO, with Edwards throwing him the ball, could be considered an "elite" reciever too. Id be more scared of Evans than of TO.

Should be interesting so see which one between Edwards and TO will lead the league in dropped passes this yr.

I think edwards, due to the fact TO is going to impede on trents development and he wont be able to get TO the ball. :chuckle:
