Patriots 12-4: They are the best team in the game with the best player in the game. Until someone knocks them out I'm picking them. In fact I'd pick then right now to win the Super Bowl (although I think the Ravens will give them a run in the AFC).
Dolphins 10-6: Improved coaching, some luck for once and better overall talent. This team could have won 7 games last year with the worst coaching in the game, no running game and a defense riddled with injuries. Now they have a franchise tailback, arguably a top 5 coaching staff and depth on defense.
Jets 8-8: I put them at 8-8 because of Pennington. If he could stay healthy the entire season I'd put them at 10-6 but he can't stay healthy. I also downgrade them because they seem to be leaning pretty hard on a running back (I know he lead the league in yards last year) who is on the wrong side of 30. When runners lose it they lose it fast and Blaylock is not Lamont Jordan.
Buffalo 8-8: Only because of Losmans inexperience. I see them starting slowly because of that but once he finds his feet I see them pushing hard late in the year. They have a defense that matches up with anyone and a running back who could be a star (if he stays healthy). A learning season for Losman but I see the Bills making a big push in '06.
