AFC Focus: ranking the wide receivers

Here's what I would love to see: Ginn starting on one side to stretch the defense downfield, Booker on the other side, and Chambers starting in the slot which seems to be more natural for him. This 3 receiver set also opens up more running lanes for Ronnie Brown or even Lorenzo Booker if he is in the game.

Yeah, Jets at 5 is kind of ridiculous.

I dont know Coles has been pretty good and Crothcery almsot had a 1000 yards last year. They had two receivers do better than our best one did.

May i take it that Booker will still be a Fin then by the season opener? Ive heard alot of talk about him being traded but no concrete offers obviously. Hopefully Hagan will have a good season.

I'd have to disagree with this list. I think the Phins are better than a few of those teams listed from 6-10, ie Ravens, Texans, Chargers, and Steelers. Everyone in the media seems to forget Hagan, who I feel will have a breakout year. I could see Chambers and Booker being replaced by Ginn and Hagan in the next few years.
 I think Hagan will be much improved, but when a player drops over 19% of the passes that touch his hands (21 catches - 5 drops) it is probably a good thing if the media forgets about him.

i dont think the ravens and that chargers shoud be ahead of us on that unless that counts TE to

Coles was unspectacular when he played for the Skins. CC is better than both of them. Miami has a better corp of WR's than the Jets

Really now? His second season wasn't great in Washington, but his firstyear there he went for 82 catches and 1204 yards.

Coles has four years over 80 receptions and three years over 1000 yards.

Chambers has one of each.

Chris has scored more TD I will give him that much, but I would take Coles over him.

I pray Teddy Ginn can change this! I dont want to put to much pressure on him, but it would be nice to have an elite wide out soon!

I do agree about Lee Evans up in the armpit of america ( Buffalo). Kid can flat out play.

i'd have to agree with that...CC has only really had one good season and i've always liked Marty even when he was with the bears. and we just have to wait and see what Ginn and Hagan can do.

Chambers played great for a half of 1 season. Before and since, he's been very ordinary. In fact, the most common adjective used to describe Chambers is "inconsistent". Booker is okay, but not great. Hagan has done nothing to write home about. Ginn is a rookie who hasn't played a down in the NFL -- and he wasn't even the best WR on his college team.

Either Coles or Cotchery is better than anyone the Fins have -- and they have the stats to prove it.

i personally think chambers has as much ability as any Wr in the league but based on results both of the jets receivers were superior to anybody on our roster.
