we get in i have no doubt we can make some noise. i can see us making a run like the jets in 2009 and 2010. a 6-7 team (who we beat by the way) just went on the road in a primetime game and completely dominated the best team in the afc. we've already beaten 2 of the 4 division leaders, and have a chance to make it 3 of the 4 on sunday. man we have such an opportunity to make a statement against the pats that not only can we be a playoff team but can do some damage.

This team is better than their record IMO. The problem is the lack of adjustments at half time and the killer instinct. If they learn how to finish games, they definitely could make some noise. This game against the Pats will tell us a lot about this team.

Will it really say a lot about this team if we win? Don't get me wrong, I think we have a lot of talent and are a good team, and could make some noise in the playoffs. But I am hesitant to think we are really on track if we beat NE. Until we win a playoff game I think I will feel this way. They have caused me to be this way with constantly giving me hope then ripping it away. The only season, the ONLY season since Marino left that they exceeded expectations (which are quote low btw) was 2008. We managed to win and were consistent. But I will say that this team is looking better since the TB game. They look like a well balanced good team. I do really fear the bills game more than the patriots game honestly. The bills manage to bring the worst outta this team.

I mean on terms of closing games and a killer instinct. Finishing games seems to be the theme of this week for Miami. If they learned how to win games, they would be better than 7-6. If they can close out the Pats (a team who finds ways to win), it will say a lot. But yes, they need to do it consistently.

I agree, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. This team needs to get in the playoffs first, so I'm not going to think of what fins can in the playoffs until I feel pretty good fins are getting there. This would mean fins win the next two games and ravens lose atleast one in the next two weeks. If so, then I'll definitely be thinking of what they can do in the playoffs.

I think a padded room somewhere has your name on the door ;)

the same would have been said of someone picking Bal last year, NYG in '07 and '11.

My line of thinking is I never trust Peyton in January, as great as Brady is he doesn't have a lot of help this year and has struggled in January in recent years, the Colts aren't that good, I can see Cincy making a run if Dalton limits mistakes but why not take a chance? KC is solid all around and is well coached.

The Pats are going to the Super Bowl and it makes me sick.

In reality w/ what Brady has had to work with he should be the MVP but obviously that award is more about #s and he doesn't have them this year but that man is amazing, might be the best QB I have ever seen.

Why is anyone surprised that Pats make up things on the fly and keep winning? They have done it for years and will continue to do it as long as Belichick and Brady are there.

I hate this team as much as the Jets. It kills me to say that. It takes a physical and tough-minded team to beat them. That is vintage Baltimore Ravens over the past few years.

I do not see a team like that in the AFC. Sorry. I wish I was wrong.

The Pats could get killed in the Super Bowl by a SF or Sea, but keep in mind Brady is the best winter weather QB ever. The Pats have a great chance to win it. Barf in my mouth.

I don't think Baltimore going to the SB last year was so unexpected. Yeah they hadn't been in years but they still had the same type of players as they did 12 years prior.

KC on the other hand, when's the last time they've done anything in the playoffs?
